Thanks Devs for offering a Linux version.
This is completely not my genre, but something about the very TRON-esque aesthetic really makes me want to play it.
This must be a first, GOG has it, Itch has it, but not Steam?

Couldn't find that one on Steam either: https://www.gog.com/game/against_the_moon

I look for almost any game I consider purchasing to see the aggregated user score and its the only two games I recall not finding.

Actually If I am not wrong the developer of this game is Memories in 8 Bit that streams sometimes for the GOG twitch channel and supports DRM Free, he is also the developer of one game coming soon "Cold Hearts"
Probably that is the reason why it was released on Itch and GOG first..Hopefully people support him :)

Yep, true. This game is not my cup of tea, but nice, to see a game from "The Kerbal Exploder" here. :-)
Since it has Doki Doki in it I was expecting the game shifted in the middle of the gameplay into a psychological horror or something.
Does the game have any randomization?

Well, when reading "Doki Doki" I expected something inspired by Babymetal or at least with a soundtrack from Babymetal.
Oh, and the Soundtrack is from ChronoWolf, who also streams for GOG on Twitch, if I remember correctly.

Ok... what actually is this "doki doki" thing? Does it mean anything? I completely ignored it until you guys brought it up, and now googling it only brings up one of those anime porn games, which doesn't really seem relevant.

It means pounding (of a heart) or "(with a) racing heart".

That... is horrible, and explains nothing :D

Oh, so it's just Heart-pounding Gravity Dive. I'm not sure why not just call it that, and avoid possible google mixup with a completely unrelated game.

Anyway, thanks.

You're not that far off. I went through a lot of music while coding and a certain Babymetal song did inspire me to this name.

Yes. Yeah level you start will throw you into a solar system with a different planet configuration (while all planets are hand-made) and the enemy spawning is random (yet influenced by difficulty), too.
