Deliver Us The Moon is a Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth's natural resources are depleted. In an effort to solve the energy crisis, global powers created the World Space Agency and secured a promising new source of energy on the moon.

The World Space Agency colonized and operated from the moon until one fateful night all communications with Earth ceased and the energy source was lost. Now, years later, you assume the role of Earth's last astronaut on a do-or-die mission to investigate what happened and save humanity.

Anothername: SciFi presenting a united earth and warning about humans killing themselves because greed reflected i.e. in climate change is probably as old as SciFi itself. Don't blame the SciFi that the world started to catch up on the killing part...

NovusBogus: Dude has a point about genre history--nonsensical social utopianism is expressly the reason that I've never cared for the 50+ year old Star Trek franchise. Perhaps someday someone will do a wickedly sharp satire about the real reasons all those disposable guys seem so eager to die in the name of tactically questionable glory seekers.

Anyway, doesn't sounds like my kind of game for a lot of reasons so whatever.
United; does not necessarily mean utopian (i.e. Starship Troopers; Warhammer 40k).

igrok: I also found the political agenda in the description of the game a bit off-putting. I hope it has no implications for the gameplay. Somehow older games like Outpost stayed more neutral.
The themes mentioned are some of the oldest in Science Fiction. SciFi has never since the beginning been about "sciency" type stuff. It merely has used the setting to be a platform to provide commentary on societal problems.

Four hours only got me 2/3 of the way through on the initial release version on Steam. Typically, the people who make these "short game" comments in many games with ridiculously low number of game hours are gamers who think the sole purpose of a game is to finish as fast as possible, without bothering to smell the roses and enjoy the game and all it has to offer along the way. I'm an "enjoy the ride" guy, not a "reach the finish line as fast as possible" guy,

I purchased this game, and have spent a few hours playing it. All in all I think it is a great game, there are a few minor inconsistencies with gravity as one example that I noticed. But for the most part a great game. I wished it had not left us with so many unanswered questions, but perhaps that was to allow for a sequel. While I don't know that is why they were left unanswered, that is as good a reason as any other I can think of. I also did not like the ending, after all the hard work & frustration I went through to have it end like that, well it is what it is & I can't change that.

I was just curious what everyone else thought about that ending? Or is there a possibility for an alternate ending that I have not found yet? Other games I have played have more than one possible ending but this one so far to me it appears to be only the one. But I am sure there are others out there who have played it through more than once already, and I am just curious what others thought about it.
has anyone played this game? if so, how do I jump up to turn the second hydrogen valve
