tammerwhisk: Yeah other games make use of blank screens w/ text, color, and audio. Whereas Blood Drive undermines the imagination by having comical 3D chibi characters thrown around or collapsing. Most the real visceral opportunities are undermined in that way in fact. Whereas the other titles left it up to the "reader" to picture it or supplemented things with CGs.

With horror sometimes leaving things vague or unseen can be better, or even just showing the aftermath. Blood Drive throws all that out the window for "NEW 3D OMG".

Hikage1983: Ok since you chose not to address the points i presented in my post, let us just settle for agree to disagree.
We both are entitled to our opinions.
Have a nice day :)
I did address though, I was commenting why the other games were much better at things. Blood Drive shows too much, it doesn't give the opportunity for "psychological horror" for much of it. Unless the theme itself "does it" for you, it's disappointingly unsubtle and in your face... Which could work if it weren't awkwardly cutesy the entire time.

Well, at least it was an interesting discussion.
But the matter of taste is kinda subjective.
He migth like what you dont even if you think its painfully cliche as you word it.
Personally i havent played this so i cant give my own opinion about it.
Still have both of these originals on PSP. Decent little time wasters.
