If you are familiar with Sierra-style adventuring you know just what you're up against – this is your chance to step into the shoes of a Naval Officer on a quest to rescue "the ambassador" and prevent total war. It's probably more of a case of GOG saying they'll guarantee it'll run on Windows 7 and up. They just won't provide support for XP. I really doubt ScummVM suddenly stopped working on this outdated version of Windows.

Now the real question is: Why are you still running XP on your main PC?

Well, pretty much those, yeah. I'd just like to see gog have the whole catalogue.

A James Walls adventure. They are all very dated thematically (his views of race and social class were... well, let's not think too much about that) and some puzzles do not work, but you won't find many James Bond like adventures around there anyway.

EDIT: and the Sierra games are, somehow, still playable, still beautiful and still sound just right.

Willy Beamish a few weeks ago and now this. Neither of those are my kind of game, but if GOG is on a Sierra kick then maybe, just maybe, Conquests of the Longbow, Eco Quests 1 & 2 and Peppers Adventures in Time will show up at some point.

nice old game, the graphics are a little to blocky, and colors are limited,i will get this one later....

Eco Quest 1 and 2 and Peppers are very similar games, but the rest are different. When you say "not my kind of game" you mean that you don't like any kind of adventure game?
