Living after midnight.

Cinders is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 50% off until September 14th, 2 pm UTC. Discount will turn into a pumpkin after that time.
A visual novel that puts an insightful, mature twist on that beloved fairytale about a poor, oppressed girl who lost a shoe but found herself a ticket to a privileged life. In this take, magic still abounds, but so do the tough story choices, deep characterization, and a bold exploration of complex themes that the original tale didn't dare tackle.
Nice to see MoaCube on Gog .

Yes, really cool. Didn´t expect this to ever happen...
...now I´ve got one less reason to remember my humblebundle-login. :D
Of course, a game I've asked them for repeatedly since it came out, and it releases at the end of the sale when I just blew my entire budget :)
Moa Cube...Did not see this coming. I love their stories (or retelling of the old ones). I have to pick those two titles at some point.
oh! my! god!

I have bought this directly from devs, now how cool would it be to be able to add this to my GOG account!
Solstice and Cinders both bought :)

Thank you for supporting visual novels!
I actually have this DRM-free on Groupees. Never tried it. Really should try one of these "VNs" at some point.
So why isn't Magi (another game by MoaCube) on GOG? Too niche for GOG curators?

I'm really happy to finally see our games on GOG, too. And it's so cool that there are people who actually waited for it! <3

Tbh, I don't think Magi is a good fit for GOG. I have a soft spot for it, as it's my first commercial game release, but -- well -- it's my first commercial game release and it shows. :P

0w0 What's this? A VN that isn't anime? Is that legal?
Cinders is my favorite visual novel, and I'm so glad to see finally see it on GOG!

I'd have bought it for $5-10. I like the dueling wizards concept, and it looks like it might be a fun way to pass time (waiting to meet someone, quick session before work or winding down at the end of the day, etc). But not interested in a Steam version. Is there a DRM-free download if purchased from the MoaCube website?

From the official product page:
The game is DRM free and yours to keep forever.

That doesn't answer the question - that page has the Steam icon, and requiring Steam for installation is DRM imo - I would like to know if an actually DRM-free, non-Steam download is offered.
