gamesfreak64: Quickly browsed some reviews on steam and at least 16 or 17 negative reviews from the 38 so far the fun part is there seem to be games who always have a positive review, they arent aware of any bugs, the dont really mind the game is pretty short compared to its price, sometimes i wonder if those reviews are relatives or 'paid for' or given free codes at steam... its al very strange.
Steam is already looking into the cards thing cause apparently many got free codes/keys to post positive reviews....
i dont know if a publisher/dev at steam can remove or hide some reviews ( i hope not) but very often it says a game has 33 reviews for example and when i start reading it has 2 or 3 ? i checked it in chrome ff and ie and in the client to make sure its not a flaw , but in all cases the reviews were not there although the number read 33...
Steam publishers CAN delete reviews, at least this option came into business a few weeks ago if I am correct, to counter the review-bombing because of price changes after release (our friends at Paradox suffered from those for example). So I would not be surprised, if this is the case here. The discussion in the forum is quite mixed, with a few people complaining about the game not running. Correct me please, if I am wrong, but reviews at steam are not for eternity anymore...
Me personally I don't give a damn about the "short game time", because I am no "elite gamer" and will have problems to complete the game in 3 hours (yes, I would go after all bonuses...).
But I take it into consideration about the price tag and 30 euros is extremely overpriced, considering this is a "convertion" of "Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams", which I knew from the beginning.
At the moment Accolade still has some good will left from me, because the sale price in connection with the extra OST is still okay for me (but I can understand others to deeply disagree), otherwise I would not have taken the bait. The last week was very expensive ("Zwei", "Dying Light", a few of those removed games...), so I AM annoyed about the high price tag. But I fear, this "package" for this sale price will not be repeated in the NEAR future.
The good will is starting to disappear, since I believed the game would function without problems (as a "remake" of "Twisted Dreams", which works perfectly).
On the funny side: yesterday I installed the game TWICE (installer was okay, without galaxy), and the game did not start at all, with error messages. Then I installed "Twisted Dreams" over it... and it seems to run. WTF?
Please GOG, see into this and bring a corrected installer for "Bubsy". Thanks.
