I don't mean to bother you, but could you maybe clarify something for the sake of adding this information to the thead about region-locked games on GOG: Is the DLC blocked in Australia or are you trying to access it from some other region at the moment?

Also, do you know whether it's common practice for stores in Australia to block AO content (on Steam, for example)? And is this a legally required practice or are GOG handling the situation in Australia in a similar way to Germany (in other words: blocking content without being legally required to do so)?

Feel free to add the information in the thread yourself, if you'd like, otherwise I'll do it :)

People in Germany can neither see nor install the unrated patch from gog.
That's why he posted the link from the devs themselves.

As an Australian I'm uncertain, but firstly;
GOG Titles that are inaccessible in Australia (That I know of first hand.)

1- Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (The Soundtrack is "available" but I don't know if it can be bought without already owning the base game.)
2- Saints Row IV: Game of the Century Edition
3- Succubus Unrated DLC

I'm not educated on the laws pertaining to adult products in Australia but basically anything rated [X18+] is illegal to sell in most of the territories here. (Quick source: https://www.classification.gov.au/classification-ratings/what-do-ratings-mean)

Ohh and FYI; the Succubus Unrated DLC can also be downloaded for free on the developers website.

Last time I checked, gift and discount code redemptions bypass country checks, so GOG gift keys should be redeemable everywhere.

Just make sure your country doesn't criminalise possession..

Thanks for the patch from 1.0.14553 to 1.0.14717 but you removed the patch for 14717 to 14736 in the process. :)
If someone's interested, the developer studio had published a raport of game's sales during the first 3 days: they sold 37k copies of Succubus, Steam and GOG combined (they're on stock market, so were probably obliged to give the numbers to shareholders). Game's production cost was around $1M and the sales covered around half of that in 3 days.

Also almost 300k users put the game on their wishlists in that time. Pretty impressive for an indie game studio IMHO.
I watched some gameplay and the nicest thing I can say is that it's better than Agony. Combat is boring and repetitive. But it is better than Agony, which is why it's here, I guess.

I was expecting considerably more, so I'm thankful I don't shop impulsively! ;p

Nice. Hopefully they sold enough copies here to make the GOG release worthwhile. I'd still like Agony to show up for people.

There are quite a few things they could improve in the game but reading what they post on their discord and patchnotes they do listen to feedback and try to improve the game with upcoming patches. Complaints I have so far (hoping they will change these).

1) Checkpoint system is terrible. Checkpoints won't be saved if you quit the game - ponly if you die. This does not even change if you have to encounter a boss battle.

2) Menu UI is terrible when you use keyboard anmd mouse since you have to click some things AND use keys to access some other options. It is not possible to access everything just with a mouse. That's the main reason I switched to controller for which the game seems to be designed to.

3) A little bit of Story is there but unfortunately the devs completely forgot to implemet the story inside the levels. So you simply go from level to level - killing enemys - sometimes bosses and you don't really know why you are there and why you have to kill a certain boss. A short description f how the story is connected to the actual level in the level description would change tzhis flas really easy.

3) This is a game that has its focus on taboo breaking - yet they changed quite a few scenes from the demo and made them more tame ... why? Why bothering with unrated DLC if one still have taboos you want to keep?
What's the hold-up on the additional content, such as the soundtrack being available here as well?
