Techs mechs.

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, a neon-painted isometric shooter starring snazzy mechs, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 30% launch discount.

Your contract is simple: infiltrate Solo Nobre, spread mucho mayhem, then get out in one piece - the pilot, vehicle, and gear you'll go with are up to you. Each fully destructible district challenges you in new ways, while the three warring factions will keep getting on your nerves and sights. Yeah, this is going to get pretty messy.

Care for some extra flair? Grab the Deluxe edition for the OST and Artbook or just upgrade later, 40% and 50% off, respectively.

The 30-50% discounts will last until June 20, 1PM UTC.

Note: Currently, Brigador is only available for Windows. The Mac and Linux versions are going to arrive shortly.

Watch the trailer.

orikae: As we're also frequent users of GOG (at least the storefront) we want to provide parity between here and Steam - it's just been a very busy launch week and I'm the only programmer at the moment.
Hi Karl! Talking about parity, how are those macOS and Linux versions coming along? Or is it an internal GOG issue?

macOS is still unavailable on either platform (which we are working on - in addtiion to everything else, some problems with Apple's dev pipeline as well, when it rains it pours). Linux is available on GOG and updated from the Steam version within a few days - the current state of Linux is roughly where Steam was a week ago, but we're updating it either today or within the next couple of days.

Good to know, thanks!

orikae: Hello! Sorry for the delayed response - we aren't as familiar with GOG's fora as Steam's, so it took a bit to find where everything was.

I'm working on implementing achievements across the board, and already have the GOG achievements at parity for what is implemented and fully tested on my developer environment - once everything is confirmed working on GOG I'll flip the switch. In other words, Steam is getting achievements piecemeal, GOG will get them all at once, or at least in larger chunks.

As we're also frequent users of GOG (at least the storefront) we want to provide parity between here and Steam - it's just been a very busy launch week and I'm the only programmer at the moment.

Thank you for your patience. It will be rewarded. :)

Awesome, thanks for the info Karl! You have no idea how much respect and goodwill is earned in this community by a dev replying to comments in the GOG forums! At the very least it makes my opinion of you guys shoot through the roof! It also earns you an extra sale, because now I bought your game and I'm stoked to start playing! Now if only more developers were as forthcoming. I've asked probably over a dozens devs of games sold here to implement achievement platform parity directly through their forums or social media, and I hardly ever get a response. The couple other times I've gotten a response, the response was positive, but months and months later they still have not implemented them. I think I can trust that won't be the case here since you already have them running in your test environment. =)
It's the 18th and it's still only available on Windows. What's happening?
Aye, was really hoping to see this(for linux) while the sale is still going =\

It's been on my radar since the initial 2015 release, looks like a neon coloured Desert Strike, and was quite surprised and happy to finally see it without Steam

Yeah! The synthwave/cyberpunk vibe is wonderful. I bought it anyway, on good faith. I hope it appears soon.
Not only that, we are still waiting for a patch that landed on steam nearly two weeks ago...

The one that, among other things, adds "local persistence" for not resetting your choice of game language everytime you launch the game?

That one's already here, since shortly after it was released two weeks ago.

Just download the latest offline installer - it's only ~500MB anyway - and there you are.

I've done the same and in very brief testing it seems to work alright with wine so that's something at least .
Still waiting for the Mac version ...
