Techs mechs.

Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, a neon-painted isometric shooter starring snazzy mechs, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 30% launch discount.

Your contract is simple: infiltrate Solo Nobre, spread mucho mayhem, then get out in one piece - the pilot, vehicle, and gear you'll go with are up to you. Each fully destructible district challenges you in new ways, while the three warring factions will keep getting on your nerves and sights. Yeah, this is going to get pretty messy.

Care for some extra flair? Grab the Deluxe edition for the OST and Artbook or just upgrade later, 40% and 50% off, respectively.

The 30-50% discounts will last until June 20, 1PM UTC.

Note: Currently, Brigador is only available for Windows. The Mac and Linux versions are going to arrive shortly.

Watch the trailer.

Yeah thanks for that. Fantastic reading. Voices and accounts like that are important to combat the depersonalizing expectations of the modern consumer.

Why? Why not at the same time with the Windows version? It's not like they are only now developing those versions, right?

I really don't understand why some games that are multiplatform either don't include support for the other versions or don't release at the same time if they already have the other versions developed.

The question is, if the Mac and Linux versions don't exist yet or if GOG missed to put them up.
You know: Releaseday was friday and then follows the weekend ... GOG staff doesn't work at weekends ... only Judas ... :p

It's a bit dubious because on the other platforms, where the game is released, there are more versions listed:

Steam: Windows/Mac

itch.io: Windows/Mac/Linux

GOG sais, that "The Mac and Linux versions are going to arrive -->shortly<--." ... not "soon".

Silverhawk170485: It has very good ratings on Steam from a lot of people. I read a few reviews and watched some gameplay videos but couldn't figure it out, what makes this game so special and different from other twinstick shooters. Can anyone please point with the finger on that special thing?
I'd say it's the tactical aspect - even the toughest mechs and tanks can't sustain a protracted barrage of fire, and you have to be careful when you blow things up as they cause a lot of noise that alerts enemies and can cause chain reactions that can destroy you, too. Ammo is definitely finite and while your shields can refill, if they get worn down you suffer health damage which doesn't recover between missions. If you try and play this like a more arcade-y twinstick you can run into real, fatal hot water.
Is sounbdtrack in mp3 only?
For those wondering about the Linux/macOS release delay. According to Hugh on Twitter he ran into an issue leading into relaunch and is working on a fix.
I think this wish is fulfilled, no?

Crosmando: Pretty graphics
The graphics doesn't look bad, but it's too grim and dark for my taste. I would have preferred more sunlight instead of the neon-light.
If you like 'fun' you should get this one, this is a great deal for the game. I bought it close to release and think it's one of the best Indie titles I've played.
Is that the Ahoy-Guy in the Trailer?

You know, from Iconic Arms and RetroAhoy? :O

Some games just look better at night-time. Can you imagine Resident Evil 2 at daytime? Or Blade Runner for that matter?
The graphics in this game remind me very much of C&C: Tiberian Sun. Nevertheless seems like a very fun game. Wishlisted.

Yes! :) I hate games where I do not see much. I'm not sure if they still would be the same games, though. :P
Only 8 missions in but this game is controlling GREAT with an xbox360 controller
Bought this since it has really good ratings and watched some videos. So far this is one of the best hidden gems I have played this year!

Mechs leveling entire city blocks. <--- Everything you need to know.
