Never.
This looks awesome!

Also, I hope JoyMasher's next game is a Final Fight/Streets of Rage clone.

Actually, since they're Brazilians like me, there are great chances of it being a Cadillacs and Dinosaurs clone. XD

Yeah, this is why I m bored of these pixel clones.

I mean... I remember all these games when they come out.
Would be even ok, if these where not 90% of GOG releases.

Better DOS games.
Dont know why i bought this.

it looks reeeaaaaallly cool, i like pixel art, but i never grew up with the games its inspired by and, frank lee, while i can tell its quality im godawful at it.

its super fun, it's just super fun i'll only ever see one level of

Definitely my type of game.
Well if Konami won't I guess someone else has to.
"Epic boss fights"

I see many of these classics-inspired platformers and shooters advertise like that. But I'm wondering, did any considerable number of players even actually like the boss fights of the classics?

I always hated those sections and got tired of them quickly. The games that did have boss fights that I remember fondly still, I definitely don't remember for their bosses. And from the few people I've brought this up with in person, everybody seemed to agree that those were just frustrating obstacles that made them reconsider if they want to keep playing the game. And when modern games still have boss fights, it always strikes me as an out-of-place cliché rather than a welcome challenge.

But maybe I'm in the minority?
So the publisher 'The Arcade Crew' (which is basically DotEmu) confirmed on twitter that Blazing Chrome will not release in Asia via GOG. Very odd given the developer Joymasher has published their own games here.

When I asked the Arcade Crew about it, they told me I had to buy the game on steam...

Honestly, just buy it through a VPN. It's dumb and you shouldn't have to do it, but.... well, it does get the job done.

Would buying a region locked game with a VPN restrict access to future DLC? Like would I have to use the VPN to download DLC?

Presumably, yes, DLC would be gated behind a region lock if the underlying game is also region locked. That said, I think DLC is very unlikely for this game -- hasn't been the case with the developer's last couple of games.
Alright thanks. They actually rolled out a patch to the steam version just last week. Np idea if it's coming to GOG but I presume so.
