The lives of others.

Beholder, a clever strategy/adventure where spying on your tenants is the least of your sins, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 57% launch discount.

As a state-appointed manager, you can't afford to show your tenants any leniency: All their dirty secrets, unpatriotic tendencies, and unlawful activities must be observed, cataloged and reported to the totalitarian regime. If you ever get second thoughts, however, just ask yourself: should your family pay the price for your neighbors' insubordination?

Play as the mysterious ex-landlord and get another perspective on this darkly satirical setting with the Blissful Sleep DLC, launching at -32%.

The 32/ 57% discounts will last until July 18, 4PM UTC.

NOTE: The Blissful Sleep DLC is only available for Windows and Mac.

Spy on this informative trailer.

Behold! Now the newspost is on the forums!
So after a year and a bundle it finally comes here with a strange discount.
Nice for some I suppose.
Is there any randomization in the game? Or is it just a set amount of levels?

Yeah, I too got it with the latest Humble Indie Bundle. Plus the DLC is not Linux-compatible, so no incentive for me to buy it again here.

PS: WTF!? The DLC is Linux-compatible on Steam. Is this another case of "no Linux Galaxy, no Linux games/DLCs" bullshit? :S
too realistic

On "that other store" the DLC is also available for Linux...
Got this on Steam (GOG Connect, devs? :3) and it seemed interesting but I should get back into it.

Pour info, la traduction francophone est immonde, jouez en anglais.

This seems to be code for "please don't buy this game here"…
Unfortunately Humblebundle was way faster than you guys...

Afaik (I played it a few hours durng a Origin Aceess Testabo) it's not randomized. You have to fulfill quests and you have to chose which ones you will fullfill and which you won't. In general what you are missing in game is money and (game)time because you will get a time limit for each quest you are receiving. Some of your choices might end the game earlier than expected but you will have the possibility to reload a game prior to the beginning of a certain quest. IN general it's time management and money management timed with choices in a really dark setting. The artstyle totally fits the theme.

Is it correct that the DLC is listing achievements and the base game is not?

Considering the absence of a Linux version for the DLC (no client API support on Linux), I think it should be correct.

I think no client API support on Linux should have been the reason too.

That's how things could end by injecting client dependencies into games in the first place.
It's not GOG to be blamed for this. The developers could have removed the interface or created stubs to solve the issue.

It's a 4 euros Android game pc version, 4 euros does not seem a discount to me. I think that the full price is inflated.

7 bucks for both the game and DLC, I do have the game via humble, but just might snag it due to both the DLC and supporting gog as I would love to see gog surpass steam's market dominance...

Though I hope for gog's sake that they end up matching steam's linux support for the DLC as linux users are a large part of our community!
