I hope everyone will enjoy the new version! Also, please refrain from name-calling. You can always discuss things or prove someone wrong as long as it's in a civil manner :)

Is the original version available for those who didn't have it, if they buy the new one?
EDIT: I see it says the legacy build is included with limited Win 10 support.

Nice.

Will the old mods work?
Great! And includes original version!

Same here, all because GOG is too arrogant to communicate honestly about what "DRM Free" actually means. This game appears to be DRM Free, but Hitman appears to be a hot, stinking mess of buggered online connectivity issues, which seems to me to be the antithesis of what I thought DRM Free meant.
Another oldie brought back by SNEG! I am honestly curious about what their next titles will be.
Thanks for bringing this back finally and making it free for old owners! The original release was a bit of a pain to get working in Win10

ShadowWulfe: Will the old mods work?
Someone from SNEG was kind enough to post an FAQ in the game's subforum. Here's the bit about mods:

"Can I use existing mods for Blade of Darkness (e.g. HD mod)?
We've tried to be as non-invasive as possible, so, in theory they should, but we don’t know for sure. The HD mod by SrRaulCL should work though, as he has prepared a V4 version based on this new version of the game."

SCPM: Original owners get the new version free, that's awesome! And kudos for making the legacy version available to new buyers as well.
The re-release that is done right.
The Little Engine That Could!
controller support?

Very cool release that under normal circumstances I would have bought right away, but like Legacy of Kain not quite at the level of a must-buy within the terms of my personal boycott. Sorry.

Please clarify your stance on DRM/online connection requirements locking vast amounts of singleplayer content and please assure our existing games will at the very least remain safe from updates that add such "innovative" "evolved" "improvements".
A lot of us old-school "whales" who have purchased on this store need more assurance about the future direction of GOG.com before being inclined to buy much (if at all) further until then.

I would be inclined to think Blade of Darkness wouldn't have such online requirements, but I feel at this point I can't trust this place not to accept such a thing. Everyone laughed in recent years when Bethesda tried to gate the original Doom from the early 90s behind some sort of online, but the thing is, I have no sort of assurance at this point that you guys won't try to do the same thing with old games!

M3troid: controller support?
Not yet, unfortunately.
I've been regretting not buying this game before it was pulled out. I'm glad it is back!

That's a classy move :-)

I have waited years for the this to be back on GOG and under normal circumstances this would have been an instant buy but I won't be buying this, the recent behaviour of GOG and its treatment of the customer does not deserve support I'm afriad.
