The house that probes built.

Aven Colony is now available DRM-free. Get it 75% off until the end of the Winter Sale (January 3rd, 11PM UTC).

Welcome to Aven Prime, colonists! We have exotic backdrops, advanced technology, and… deadly fungal infections? Shard storms? Aggressive local life forms? Perhaps this required more research but since we're here let's make the most of it: improvise, adapt, overcome, and make this our new home!

Grab the Soundtrack for your collection, 66% off (also until the end of the Winter Sale).
Great, I wanted it from hearing it was good. And like the visuals.

Huinehtar: I like a lot the Destination: Void universe too - while it's been years...

vanchann: Another one who likes Destination: Void and the Pandora Sequence here!

I think, I'll buy this game! :-)

EDIT: Bought!
Wow thank you both so much. Like I said I *loved* The Jesus Incident... but never realized it was part of a larger story arc / cycle. I used to be an avid reader but really haven't picked up anything in quite some time (really for no good reason to be honest).

Think I'll dust off the old library card and maybe start going through some of these!

falloutttt: Surviving Mars is a platform for DLC.

Pretty much any game is better.

I'd rather play the old "Space Colony" for 1000 time.

Nicole28: I love Space Colony! It'd be wonderful if there was an equally fantastic sequel created for it, or a game in a very similar vein.
Sadly, there isn't anything as good. :(

I love Space Colony. It's an excellent game. Even the soundtrack is absolutely amazing!
So, now that we got this good game here.
Any chance we will also get the two Outpost games?
Or Utopia the creation of a nation?
I picked this up on XBox and personally really like it. It's not as in-depth as Cities: Skylines or even Sim City games, but it's a nice middle ground between difficult and easy... in-depth and simple. There's some resource management which most city management style games don't have, and even MORE resource management when you get into farming and using the farm resources to create other foods, alcohol, etc.

If you're a fan of sim games at all, at this price it's seriously a no-brainer. I'm even thinking about grabbing this so I can have it on PC too.

I loved Utopia and its sequel K240 on the Amiga. Didn't realise they had PC versions?

It would be nice to see them here, but Sierra and its development studios went through so much turmoil that GOG might not be able to suss out who owns the IP for a lot of the unclaimed Sierra stuff. Maybe they could start by talking to Hi-Rez Studios and find out how they got their hands on the Tribes IP. Activision might be able to help, too.
Glad Aven is here. Heard it was good. Looks beautiful of its type too. Thanks, GOG.

Utopia had versions other than the Amiga. Atari ST and DOS. I don't know about any more, but I think it also came out on a console. Perhaps the SNES.

Well, let's hope they decide to try to get them.

Don't forget the data disk of Utopia, named "New Worlds".
At least, the DOS port of K240 is already here on gog, it's Fragile Allegiance.
Good deal to bring Aven to this platform.
Already own it on steam and for me it was worth buying it at full price.
Too bad development seems to be ended for this title.
