We'll see. claimed it hours ago...and still nothing. Couple this with a missing title in my library that is being ignored by staff. You guys are about ready to lose me entirely.

Edit: two and a half hours later it has appeared. Now, I'm waiting for you to put our movies back that were removed

LOL, calm down, guys. First of all, it's free: you paid nothing for it. Moreover, freebies sometimes take a little while to show up in-library -- you should know this by now. Also, the giveaway just started, and will be on till next Tuesday (an unusually long time for a GOG giveaway).
If it's still not in your library in a day or two, it's absolutely fair to mention it, maybe even complain a little. Until then, just be patient.

As much as most of us spend here, we are entitled to complain. I don't care if it's free or not. They have already removed items from libraries that were giveaways already. They give these away as incentives to shop here. We've spent and spent. So, we're kinda tired of the shenanigans.
The giveaway is broken again. It appears as claimed, even though I haven't claimed it yet. So obviously I'm not able to do so.

Visit the following:
https://www.gog.com/giveaway/claim

Initially, it may output:
{}
Simply reload the page with [Ctrl]+[R]; now, the output should be:
{"message":"Already claimed"}
If the above is displayed, and the item has yet to be added to your library, it may be necessary for you to patiently wait. Sincerely, good luck.

As much as I hate to be a downer agreed and other problems , we just need to be reasonable when we complain ,

As far as I'm concerned....asking them to stop toying with libraries and removing items is a reasonable complaint. Their mishaps erode trust and confidence. I'm at the point of completely divorcing my finances from this store. They have zero respect for longtime or big customers instead promoting their Patron's nonsense.

They have no problem taking our money, but often fail to live up to the promise. I'm going to keep voicing displeasure until they fix what they broke. I come here, spend cash, mind my own business, but still I have to be sympathetic to their mishaps. That doesn't compute with me. These mishaps are ongoing. Thus, all complaints are valid...even for freebies. Saying nothing is complacency. Letting it be is complacency. Moving on and forgetting it is...complacency. My wallet bought my right to complain.....as did yours.

May I ask, what exactly has been removed? And how often has it been happening so far? Maybe we should check our libraries.

As for frequency....it happens to me at least three times a year. Especially with pre-order bonus items....and deluxe editions. Last year it was 7-9 games removed because of Bundle errors. I'm just trying to get my library back intact. sad part is.....you have to constantly monitor. If something goes wrong, and you don't notice.....they won't tell you. So...I'm trying at the moment ...and for the past 14 days actually...to get GOG to fix it (the film). They cannot it seems.

What I meant was don't get overly irate or make crazy demands when these things happen, complain and critize and demand they do better and stop these now far too common problems sure, just don't become unreasonable while doing so as too many has

"Don't modify my library without asking" shouldn't be a tall ask, though.

It basically boils down to, "Hey, don't mess with my files."

That indeed sounds annoying. O.o Does this happen more often with certain publishers?
