The Mediterranean in flames.

Aggressors: Ancient Rome is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.
Every ruler of the ancient world wanted to dip their power-hungry toes into the Mare Nostrum. The Greeks, the Romans, the Egyptians, the migrating barbarians - they all had ambitions, strengths, weaknesses, and ways of keeping their citizens in line. Lead one of twenty factions using military strength, economics, or cunning in a 4X turn-based strategy that gives you complete freedom over how you start your campaign and handle the challenges it throws at you.
Feels a lot like Civilization IV with some Colonization touches (more resources!). Those are two of my most played games ever so that's really good. I'm also intrigued by some mechanics like army morale or supply.

What I dislike at first: the maps looks really small, with only around 10-12 cities in the Italian Peninsula (judging by the screenshots). With a limited scope, I would have liked more detail/resolution in the map.
Strategy game with low required specs. Wishlisted.

Surtur: Glad to hear. I am a Producer for Slitherine, so technically publisher not developer, just for full transparency.
14. Yes GoG, when?
And when do you get Legion Arena here?
I've been watching this one, especially since Creative Assembly can't be bothered to offer a log cabin friendly version of their newer titles. I might get the box version, since boxes are cool and Slitherine's on-demand manufacturing vendor is local. Either way, 4X games are a mixed bag for me so I'll be waiting to hear more in depth gameplay feedback from early adopters before making any decisions.

Well, that's nice of you, thank you. :)

No necroposting here but tomorrow the same team who brought us Aggressors will release Imperium: Greek Wars on Steam.

Y'all can vote for it here! ;P
