SarahGabriella: Answer: Its not. Im out. Y'all are stupid. GOG doesnt do DRM, period.
So... do you work for Paradox?
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that we are looking into the issue with the achievements. We will try to have this fixed as soon as possible!

Cheers :)
I've noticed today that there was update for planetfall... But installer is now almost 3 times bigger than the "release one", why the sudden increase of size? Initial one was about 6 GB.

If anyone knows, I would be grateful to explain (also - I guess that it would be good for me to keep somewhere "old" installer, since game seems to be working absolutely fine with it (so far as I've checked).

Some observations: Steam store page report the required size as "20 GB". Gog store says "20 GB" under "System requirements" on the left, but "10.6 GB" on the right. The leftmost figure on Gog is always more conservative (bigger) than the right-side one.

I don't know what store pages said on the first day of release.

I don't know what's going on, but one possibility is that your original 6 GB one didn't include as much as it should have. Maybe.

Some (but certainly not all) games have smaller downloads but then decompress to be far bigger when installed, so it also might have to do with some issue with that. They forgot to compress the later bug-fixed installer, for instance, or worse, the first one compressed too much with errors that weren't immediately noticed.

I would not simply assume that the 6 GB one is just as good but smaller -- although possible, that's a dangerous assumption without more information.

Some energetic person could try both. Maybe it got worse, maybe it got better -- there certainly are negative reviews on Steam concerning game-breaking bugs, so anything is possible.

But trial and error could be difficult; there might be late-game bugfixes, for instance, that would take a long time to reach.

Then again, if you're happy so far, there's the philosophy of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" -- if you go that route, just keep in mind that you should try the bigger download if you run into bugs that make you unhappy.

I would like to ask if there are any plans to provide LAN multiplayer? As you may have read earlier in this topic, there are users here who would really appreciate this option.

Weird thing - shortly after there were another updates which brought back the initial size of installator. Appareantly, at some point it was by some reason "multiplied" (because there were triple time files with the same sizes, but with different part names). Guess that it was some sort of malfunction, which seems to be now fixed (downloaded the newest installer and it's working fine).

Version 1.0.0.6 and still no visible achievements...

EDIT: It seems they are being partially implemented right now. Let's wait for another update then... :)

Are we talking about a complete integration of the achievements with GOG Galaxy?

Alexim: Are we talking about a complete integration of the achievements with GOG Galaxy?
It seems to be still a work in progress. Achievements are now more or less integrated with Paradox Plaza (something like Stellaris), but GOG Galaxy has only two available achievements so far. I guess the rest will appear in some upcoming GOG version update.

Not bad, at least they're working on it. Thank you for the clarification!

It appears we still had a setting in the back-end set incorrectly so it would only show unlocked or at least a limited amount of achievements. This should now be fixed; so all GoG achievements should now be working and visible!

Great, now I can see them all, thanks for your efforts!
How many chances are there that you'll add them also to Age of Wonders III?
Awesome! Hopefully this could be added to the AoW3 GOG version.
