I kissed a girl and I liked it.

A Kiss for the Petals - Maidens of Michael is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 15% off until September 12th, 1pm UTC.

Ah, young love. As established couples come to terms with the intimacy native to their long-term relationships, they smile knowingly at the new affairs about to blossom on the school grounds. Tensions will rise and emotions will get slightly out of hand, while everyone gets caught up in the excitement surrounding this year's Best couple poll at St. Michael's.
maidens of michael hmm?

so why the hell is mike so special and why should i care about his maidens?! i have goddamn bills to pay and things to do
Glad this is here but it's goin to have to go to the wishlist for now.
Expenses are a bit aggressive this month.

Thank you Gog and Mangagamer.
Ah, yes. The good old soap.

GOG should really start employing NSFW tags... And it even has "an extra menu that includes the CG gallery and memories" because, well, you know... WTF?

This.
I'd really like GOG removing curation completely, letting users decide themselves for their games.

Since "curation" is still present though, I wonder why other games (Warbanners for instance) don't qualify to be released here, but this does?

No, thank you very much, but in this case, I'll rather trust greedy corporation, rather than it's user-base.

But curation is subjective and curators most probably are gamers like us with their own tastes.
For example I consider Rogue Legacy a bad game, while many others love it. What if it was tested by someone sharing my view? Should it had been rejected?

The way it is now, we miss good games from the store. Wishlist has helped for some rejected games (like Thea: The Awakening) to find their place here, but it's not always the case.

Maybe if GOG could be more transparent with their curation rules and the reasons for accepting/rejecting the games the system would work better.
Disclaimer: OK, so I don't mind that GOG offers this type of game, and I realize that some people are really happy about this genre being available here. That said...

1. Despite what fans claim, these visual novels all seem to follow the same patterns and clichés. ( At least the ones GOG adds to its selection. )

2. Holy crap, what's up with the price?! Must be all those girly mini skirts driving up production costs...

It would be better if some games had a more Suitable for work appearance in their presentation as some employers are very against certain images showing up on certain computers and could lead to a case of sexual harassment in the workplace when people are just checking out games. Also GOG is an all ages site as far as I'm aware.

Just to add I'm also talking about future games not just this specific one.

You should not browse games at work in the first place ;)
