Biped is now blocked in China (CN).

Saw this and "ran" to MaGOG, thinking GOG actually got around to setting something up to let her out of the coma... But guess not? :/

I'm in the process of migrating MaGog to another service provider. She's already able to update her database over there, so I was able to report this, but there is still quite a bit of work to do (some of it depending on the new service provider, so cannot commit to a date yet). But, so far so good.

I'll move the domain (thereby making her accessible to the world) once things are more or less ready (fingers crossed). And, of course, post about in MaGog's thread.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind this... I mean I get the German blocks, but some of these things elude me.

Especially considering Biped is freely available on the Chinese Steam storefront. I figured there might be a different publisher involved for the Chinese market, but apparently that's not the case. The publisher listed on Steam is the same as the publisher on gog.

I told them about this way back when, but apparently the gog staffer in charge has the strange idea that this would only relate to the shareware version, not the full version. I told them that this can't be the case, that the "de-indexation" explicitly refers to the German retail version (ie. the full version), but no dice.

Initially he was right. "The Hunt Begins" was delisted first, but the full game came next.

As far as I am aware, GOG is in regular contact with the BPjM, so they could confirm this with them. But there's no reason for GOG to uphold the region lock here.

Dying Light - Hellraid is blocked in Germany (DE) and Japan (JP), like some of the other Dying Light DLCs.

As of this month, Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 are neither banned nor indexed in Germany any longer.

Ghostrunner is blocked in China (CN), Hong Kong (HK), Macao (MO), and Taiwan (TW).

Were there pricing issues or publisher issues?
I recall that another game (Bloodstained) from 505 also got blocked in the same regions because of regional price stuff.

No idea, but it doesn't seem too likely, since GOG does not have regional pricing in HK, MO, or TW.
