Since it was indexed many years ago it should have been blocked since day 1. So back to normal for us germans.

As Anime-BlackWolf pointed out, strictly legally speaking, it shouldn't have been sold in Germany in the first place. The store page showed the German 18+ rating, but that rating only applies to a cut version that was sold in retail in Germany way back when. The uncensored version, which is sold on gog, is unrated and indexed.

Nope, the uncut game was unbanned in germany a few weeks ago.

DOOM II + Final DOOM is no longer blocked in Germany (DE).

Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, The [Upcoming] is blocked in:
- China (CN)
- Russian Federation (RU)
- Uzbekistan (UZ)
- Armenia (AM)
- Azerbaijan (AZ)
- Belarus (BY)
- Kyrgyzstan (KG)
- Kazakhstan (KZ)
- Moldova, Republic of (MD)
- Tajikistan (TJ)

Note 1: Since these are the countries that usually enjoy the deepest regional discounts (around 50% to 65% discount on average), this has probably something to do with regional pricing. Perhaps the publisher doesn't want to sell (or presell) the game in these regions. Or perhaps it's a GOG bug.

Note 2: The game is not blocked in Turkmenistan (TM), a country that normally has the same price scheme as the latter 8 countries in the list above (a.k.a. RegUZ). Perhaps the publisher thought that it might nevertheless be wiser to sell to a country that hosts the Door to Hell. Or perhaps it's a GOG bug within a GOG bug.

Good news for German GOGers.

Blake Stone - Aliens of Gold has been delisted from the German index of media considered potentially harmful to minors. I suppose its 25 years on the index simply were up, and the agency in charge of the index saw no reason to keep such an old game on the list. The region lock will probably be removed soon. :)

Also (and this is big!), Mortal Kombat 3 is no longer banned in Germany. In fact, a court of law lifted the ban back in November 2019, but we simply didn't know about it until yesterday. Now, it hasn't been delisted yet, but that is probably just a matter of time. Considering that both MK X and MK XI are freely available in Germany and are way more graphic than the other games, the local authorities really have no reason to uphold the old bans. So I expect at least MK and MK 2 to be unbanned, too.

Interesting this seems to be the ONLY game not available in Russia. Just like the 2 Hidden & Dangerous and 4 earlier Army Men games are still the only ones not available in South Africa.
