Why is it that you guys do not have any of the Mechwarrior games for download? Not to mention the Black & White games?

Same reason they don't have a ton of other games eiter, I suspect: rights.

GOG does have them. Unfortunately a strange bug with the new Galaxy system forbids anyone with the number 517 in their login from having access to them.

Man, I've always wanted to try "Black and White". I hope they get it someday.

the games are spread between activision microprose and microsoft
fasa has gone backrupt and most of its IP's are now owned by topps

fasa interactive has been bought up by microsoft

the battletech liscense has been sold to wizkids
wizkids was sold to topps in 2003 and shut down by topps in 2008

in shorts its a complete and utter mess

black and white is something that needs to be hammered out with between EA and microsoft
