I have purchased a game, found out I needed to download GOG galaxy to play it and now I cannot log into it because the ReCaptcha is broken. I've tried it about 50 times and every time it says "Please try again" when I know I have selected the right pictures. I just want to download my game and play it.

What video game did you purchase and download that needs GoG Galaxy?

All video games sold on gog.com are 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free, except their multiplayer which some of them need GoG Galaxy for to work.

I bought a key for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition. I went to my games, view downloads, and clicked "Download and Install Now". I don't know any other way to download it.

I recommend going into your library here on the browser, and downloading the offline "backup" installers for your games. This is an alternative to using Galaxy. Good luck finding the option to do so as I believe it is purposely hidden away to funnel more users to the Galaxy client.

Edit: The part you need to click is located just below the "Download and Install Now" that you clicked on.

I found it. The instructions to install it are not really good but I think I'll figure it out. Thank you.

What exactly is the problem?

Galaxy is only useful for games which are frequently updated, or if you need features like achievements or cloud saves.

For ReCaptcha, a way to bypass senseless images is to switch to the audio version, useful not only on GOG.

Every site should remove this thing, it's just a waste of time supose to see if you are a robot but now a robot can solve it and a human can't. For website login the code like steam or epic is the best solution, at least it work everytime.
