I'm sure many of us here have backed projects on Kickstarter, what with us being a retro-minded lot.
I'd like you to rate how happy you are with the projects that you have backed. Completed Kickstarters only please, so no Star Citizen.
I'll start the ball rolling.

1. Project Eternity for $160 - Outstanding success, the infinity engine games are some of my all time favourites and I greatly enjoyed this spiritual successor.
2. Spud's Quest £25 - Average, it's an ok game and delivered on its promises but I never was a big fan of Dizzy so am not sure why I backed it.
3. Elite: Dangerous £60 - I'm very happy with this game as it keeps getting better and better.
4. Legends Of Dawn $60 - Bit of a disappointment, not as bad as some people say but not great either.
5. Satellite Reign £48 - So far so good. It's not long been in a completed state but I am really enjoying the game so far. Has received a lot of middling reviews so it is not for everyone.
6. Wings: Remastered Edition $25 - A success, achieved everything they promised and resurrected one of my favourite Amiga games.

So far so good though I am still waiting on 11 projects to be completed. I find I am mostly backing Kickstarters for computer related books and Blu-rays rather than games these days although I have pledged $140 on Divinity: Original Sin 2.
Project Zomboid - Probably the most ambitious zombie survival game I've laid eyes on. Of course, with a large ambition comes a longer road, but I'm being patient.

Kenshi - It's just as ambitious, with it's huge open world and squad based real time action. It's had a few set backs due to havoc, but it's getting there.

I realise both of these games are not kickstarted, but when I first bought them they were in a VERY alpha state, long before Steam was even a thought to them.

Darkwood is a game that I actually kickstarted, however they've abandoned some of the features already like permadeath and procedural generation, so I'm not entirely happy.

Massive Chalice was one I backed, and although the majority seems disappointed, I'm ok with the game as is.

I'll never go back to kickstarting or alpha purchases, though; as it's just too much to wait years for the game to be completed. Once I know about a game I can't let it go and it really eats at my sanity sometimes. Not to mention promises, which feel like bait in some cases.
1. Elite Dangerous 140$: Terrible! Promised DRM Free, came with always-on DRM,at least got a refund after begging for 5 months and preparing european small claims court papers.
2. Torment 100$: No idea yet
I am new to kickstarter. I have backed Bard's Tale 4 and to be honest I backed it for WL2.
Pillars of Eternity is one of the project that I regret not to back (because I came to know about this project after it got funded successfully).
Now I am in search of kickstarter edition.
:S
I have backed few more projects but most of them failed.
I've only once backed a Kickstarter project, and that was when I threw 500$ at Project Eternity. I got exactly what I was expecting to get.
I will never pay in advance for anything.
Done several kickstarters

1. Pillars of Eternity - Great Kickstarter
2. Divinity Original Sin - By far the best Kickstarter Ever
3. Elite Dangerous - Had to go down the refund route for my collectors edition after offline scrapped. Disappointed and disgusted on treatment of backers.
4. Arakian fist kickstarter game still not released but worked on,
5. Legend of Dawn. Poor communication by developers but game was ok.

Lately backed the following

Divinity Original Sin 2 - No contest on backing these guys again.
Bards Tale 4
Civcraft (looks interesting)

I did take time away after the Elite fiasco which almost put me away from doing any more kickstarters but i am glad i did not.

Why? You mean the Pre-order version with the useless pet and the semi-useful ring?

Btw. is it a regional thing that I can't access Legend of Dawn's steam page?

I backed up 2 projects. One is Torment: Tides of Numera and its not out yet. I dont remember nor can find the second one. :(

Sorry for commenting for unplayed backups even tho you said completed projects only. I couldnt resist.
Because I think it's still gift restricted and my only chance to get it is either via trade or time machine.
Hero Edition was on sale but I missed that.
Once my trade for Kickstarter Edition failed because I failed to give equal value games on wishlist. :P
1. Elite Dangerous - What a blunder. Promises made during the kickstarter campaign not kept. Got a full £80 refund after threatening Frontier with legal action.

2. Grim Dawn - Haven't tried this one yet as i am not using steam. Waiting for the final drm-free version to be released.

3 - Planetary Annihilation - Getting better - mainly a multiplayer game, but off line single-player vs AI is possible.

4 - Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams - Nice old school platformer with some new ideas and awesome soundtrack.

5 - Mighty no.9 - Still waiting for this mega-man inspired platformer.

6 - Descent underground - Still waiting and hope they don't mess this one up ;)

7 - Custom colored c64 cases - Went with no problems. now i have 4 funky C64's ;^)

Not sure why you cant access steam page thought it was region free that game but with steam who knows.

I can't even find it in Steam only when I google it. So it must be some sort of regional stuff... I hate regional stuff...
