If you have cloud saves enabled, can saved games in the cloud be easily deleted?

I don't know who the heck thought up Steam's cloud save function, but there is no way to easily delete games saved in the cloud. It's like a 10 stop process that one needs to google to even be able to do it at all... if that even works. After reading all of those steps I never even bothered trying.

1. Find out what the AppID is for the game that you want to remove the Cloud saves for
2. Find out what your SteamID is
3. Exit Steam and make sure that Steam Cloud is enabled
4. Hold shift and right-click the remote folder
Type: 'powershell'
Type: 'clc E:\Steam\userdata\SteamID\AppID\remote\*'
5. Delete the 'remotecache.vdf in the AppID folder
6. Start steam and 'Sync conflict' should appear
7. Start the game and the sync conflict dialog will appear. Do not press anything
8. Go back to the AppID folder and delete all the files in the 'remote' folder and the 'remotecache.vdf' file
9. Press upload in the steam sync conflict dialog
10. Close the game
11. Verify the integrity of game cache of the selected game
