An epic thread is always epic.

bler144: Strange coincidence - I was just on a motorcycle enthusiasts forum earlier today asking for advice on buying a gaming computer.
Ah, but I bet you forgot to specify you were only looking for opinions on the basis of how recently people had emigrated .
Look no further CordisDia, you should buy a Roper Steam velocipede. Made in the America's, a steam-powered velocipede built by inventor Sylvester H. Roper of Roxbury, Boston, Massachusetts, United States sometime from 1867–1869.

I say, go buy it!

GameRager: To me, this forum is just steam forums classy edition with a veneer of civility. If you are accepted more you get more ontopic and civil replies, and if you are not then you get people coming in and making silly replies for the entire thread or close to it....akin to how people treat popular vs. unpopular kids in HS.
That must be it! This topic needs more respect for unpopular kids, but most of all... some REAL Americans!

I GET that OP is a bit trollish/silly, but I try to adhere as much as possible to the old saying "treat one as you would want them to treat you"(this isn't always easy for me as well, I admit).

It's also hard(judging by how the post you quoted is low rated) for some to come to terms with that...I get that....I just wish people would treat everyone the same if they want a civil/etc forum space(as some others here claim).
A person is very unlikely to deem someone a troll, especially if they are of similar opinions or views...
I'm not saying I'm any better, and several of you might say I'm worse, and you might be right. I'm not disputing that. However I think it might serve this thread well for me to drop these links here to remind everyone of exactly who we're dealing with:

Seriously, I'm beginning to think he came here because he got kicked out of 8chan. :P

Perhaps(dunno if this is a dig on me or others).

FWIW I said OP is likely trolling, but that they still deserve civil treatment(for the most part.....a few jokes is fine imo)...especially by those who tout how good the forums are or how good they want them to be.

(I know you dislike me replying to you, but bear with me/I have a valid point to make here)

So past behavior dictates how one should be treated? I guess by that logic we should all tar and feather you/Tauto/others asap?

I believe every single action of a person should be judge on it's own merits, and that most people are redeemable/can do some good.

People here could ignore op when they troll or offer civil criticism of their posting style(as some do)....both are valid choices that keep the discourse in the forums civil while showing displeasure at other's posting styles/topics. Answering the topic as if genuine(as some also did) is also a good choice.

Cracking jokes too many times over and over does nothing to stop such users as OP from trolling or posting such and just adds trash to the pile.

Addition: Please stop acting like you are above the chan sites.....they post stuff similar to what you post every day, but at least their ratio(of all users) of good and constructive posts to jokes/trolling is marginally better.

About half of my ancestors arrived via land bridge, no borders or seas involved. I am therefore one hundred percent qualified to judge the quality of motorcycles. Just to clarify, that's the one with two wheels, right?

Yes, but I believe the ones with sidecars count, and those have more than 2 wheels. ;)

Ah, geez, this is getting complicated. Fortunately the other ancestors arrived in vehicles, or I don't know if I would have enough geneticly-transmitted knowledge to deal with this question. Okay, original poster, the thing about Harleys is that when you get the motorcycle, you are required to also get the uniform. For example, when you need to sheathe your bald head in a black leather bandana, it has to be the Official Harley Davidson black leather bandana. Your wallet...the one attached to your leg with a heavy chain...it needs to be the Official Harley Davidson wallet. Your black chaps with the studs, they should also be Harley Davidson. And your t-shirt, it should say Harley Davidson on both the front and the back as well as the guns. (You will be required to refer to your arms as your guns from now on.) Either way, good luck with your journeys, friend. May you not be splattered by a semi too soon, although of course, it will happen eventually. I think you can get Harley Davidson coffins now, so at least there is that.

Why go Harley when you can go Corley Motors? ;)

Otherwise this is a semi-decent post. :)
