Barry_Woodward: I think it's about time we get the Heretic-Hexen series.

Heretic: Shadow Of The Serpent Riders (1994)
Hexen: Beyond Heretic (1995)
>>Deathkings Of The Dark Citadel (1996)
Hexen II (1997)
>>Portal Of Praevus (1998)
Heretic II (1998)

Imagine if GOG brokered a deal between Zenimax and Activision to finally re-release Heretic II.
Nope, it's impossible for now... all these games are not from Bethesda (all these games are NOT available in Germany on Steam... Heretic II for now can't be a dd game and Wolfenstein 2009 was removed from Steam for no reason)

Gimme Doom 2016, the Dishonored-s and Wolfenstein/Wolfenstein TNO+TOB. New Colossus is a terrible game in all departments, so I won't miss it.

Also, unfortunately Heretic and Hexen are Activision property, not Bethesda's. If they were, they would probably be already in the catalog.

https://store.steampowered.com/sub/439/ - they're on Steam published by id?
Only Heretic II and Hexen: Portal Of Praevus are Activision property
Oh. Interesting...
Then no excuse, bring them here! XD

Heretic II and Hexen: Portal Of Praevus are not published by ID and only Activision or Raven can do this on Steam and/or Gog
I'd happily buy The Evil Within if Beth would bring it here. I know they are "just" publishers, but still. I don't think their newer stuff gets here soon, but I don't yet have Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2 so those would be a likely pickup.
Doom 2016 or Dishonored.
This interview with Tim Willits, id Software creative director, was published on the 12th of September 2016:

What about Heretic and Hexen; do you know who owns the rights?

Tim Willits: "Oh, that’s a complicated thing, but yes I do. We, id Software, have the publishing rights. And Activision, has the development rights. So that’s a bit of a hairy situation as one of us would have to relinquish those rights."

Has that conversation happened though?

Tim Willits: "Not in the last few years."

The Dishonored games and Prey 2017 for me. Not likely though...

I know (at least for Heretic 2) but this bundle is published entirely by id/bethesda - https://store.steampowered.com/sub/439 - and yet for some reason it isn't here yet.
They don't have to relinquish any rights. He's really pushing it by using that word.

Activision can lease these rights to Bethesda for any amount they like, and even under conditions they can end on a whim. You'd think someone at Raven would want to play the best game they ever made, and you'd think Activision would do them the courtesy of making it possible, since Raven has spent the past decade cleaning up various messes made by every Call of Duty developer that isn't Treyarch. Last time I checked, Activision have also been total dicks about the Wolfenstein game Raven made.

It doesn't have to be this way. If I remember correctly Activision were decent and even helpful with the Homeworld rerelease a few years back. I strongly suspect fault lies with Bethesda, which has a reputation for unprovoked aggressive behavior toward other companies. If I had to guess, the story would involve Raven wanting to make another id game and Bethesda unwilling to share credit with Activision.

Not by Bethesda; just by id. This is an important distinction as those games were released on Steam before Bethesda bought id Software. The deal agreed back then between Raven/id Software might have only included a digital release on Steam and nowhere else. The games are not even available on other Steam resellers... almost as if Bethesda doesn't have the authority to release them outside of Steam.
Fallout 4 + Skyrim.
