What are you talking about?

It seems you've been misinformed? You never get a Steam key on GOG. You'll have to get the Steam mods some other way or use a service like Nexus mods or Moddb.

Its states that Steam and GOG crossplay is supported so I figured it would be, also learn how to talk to others, really not much there but being rude... if this is true then I guess this is my last of many games from GOG

What game are you talking about? This is the General Discussion forum.

Sorry about it. I don't think the others meant to be rude. But it's a little hard understanding what you are trying to say. Plus your thread title was cut off due to it being too long, so it isn't clear that you were asking about Sudden Strike 4.

If you go over to your GOG library (mouse over your avater on your browser > Library), and click the "more" button, you should see some options, including serial keys for online play. That might be what you are looking for?

Who was being rude? As noted, this is the General Discussion forum and you didn't indicate if you were talking about a specific game, a GOG feature, or what.
I've no experience with using steam or its workshop. There have been some recent posts about it on this forum. I haven't really read them, but IIRC some people claim they can download steam workshop mods without having the game on steam.

1 post I could find quickly: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/steam_mods_access/post24
You may want to search this forum yourself (tip: use google for that).

Steam workshop is not supported for GOG games. Crossplay means multiplayer is possible between GOG and Steam users of the game.
Now that is strange because I'm sure earlier the thread had the game title in the thread title and as it is an unknown game to me I didn't comment but the OP wasn't being vague. And since when is it a crime for a new user to ask about a game in General Discussion,I mean it's done on a daily bases so cut them some slack.
