Ancient-Red-Dragon: I like Idea Factory games, but I don't like how they are handled on GOG.

dtgreene: Wait, how did the post I'm replying to get "low rated"? I'm pretty sure that's no longer supposed to be possible.
The button and indicator is hidden but my rep still goes down by five everytime I post. The better question is how did you actually see the indicator?

Accounting for the one rep I should receive for making my post, my rep only went down by four this time. Still instantaneous though.

Let me put it this way: Today, they put more effort into promoting the revival of a mascot wannabe from the late 90' than they did for Idea Factory.

LUISDooM: OMG I WAS WAITING FOR THIS GAME!!!! INSTABOUGHT!

...That's what I'd said 6 MONTHS ago if the game was released here at the same day as Steam. I will never understand what was the point of that decision, was it because of piracy? I have news for you IF, the game was sent to the "seven seas" 3 days after release, so you'd probably earned more money at release if you released the game here too lol

Also, after all these years of weird decisions like this, milking Neptunia series with bland spin offs, mobile gacha games and other lame stuff really made me lose interest on the series. The series started to die anyways, seeing how "well" this game sold in Japan. If they think that "HDN: Sisters Vs Sisters" will save the series, I think that will be pretty hard, the models look ugly anyway.

I'm really impulsive when buying games, no matter how expensive they are or how many (useless) DLC's it has, but this one won't be the case. I'm so dissapointed that I don't think I'll buy another IF game again. One less purchase for you, and even more for the future I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Honestly, I think you're being just a tad bit ungrateful. Sure, it isn't the best game in the series, but we have a company that actually waited for a while and then removed the DRM for GOG instead of just telling us to shove off and deal with the DRM on their steam version. I' m really sick of people complaining about games being released as the more games and variety of games we have here, the better. It's perfectly fine to complain about issues in the games themselves, but to complain that we're getting new games is just a bit silly. I have been waiting for this one so maybe it might be fun for a bit. Who knows? And don't fret, there might be something coming out later that you might like and want to pick up.

It's right after Kao on the "Highlights" carousel. And the latest news item at the bottom of the front page. What other promotion were you thinking of?

You were complaining that GoG is/was/has "put more effort into promoting the revival of a mascot wannabe from the late 90' than they did for Idea Factory". But I'm unsure how you came to that conclusion, unless you had access to background activities at GoG...

It isn't currently in the carousel or the sales listed on the front page.

No, it's a duck.
In fact it's not a lack of effort: they took the effort to remove it.

Probably because of the frequent complaints and requests about having NSFW games 'shoved in their faces' and 'plastered all over the front page'. I must add, I'm not one of them...
Umm, just so we're clear - the main page carousel features are picked based on sales data as well as our agreements with the publishers.

Also, the Idea Factory Sale banner is clearly still there, so I'm not sure what the discussion is about...
