I'm glad it's working for you. :) Check if you see version 1.31 in the game's interface when it's running. You should see it on the black strip in main menu of the game, "v1.31". The game got lots of updates and it's best when it's up to date.

Next to the PLAY button, you should see the game's version in GOG Galaxy too.

If you have a problem or you're not sure if you have the newest one, just click (next to the PLAY button) MORE -> Manage installation -> Verify/repair.

btw. you're free to uninstall GOG Galaxy at any point - your game will be left untouched, and it will be still playable for you. I recommend using GOG Galaxy to update The Witcher 3. :) You can also download your game, goodies etc. at https://gog.com/account or in MORE -> Backups & Goodies
