Today, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time joins the GOG Preservation Program with a major technical update to make this classic adventure run smoothly on modern PCs.

We’ve rebuilt our initial experimental work into a lightweight wrapper that tackles modern hardware compatibility while adding widescreen and ultrawide support, customizable camera scaling with new in-game overlay, FPS limits, and multi-monitor mouse locking.

After all these years, the Prince’s journey is ready to continue on modern hardware. We hope these improvements make it easier than ever to return to the sands!

I do as well, so that may be the problem. :-(

I recently completed the game with this fix, and it's truly impressive. I hope you won't overlook WW and T2T; they have similar issues, but also their own. I hope you'll help the Prince complete his journey in pristine condition, or at least as close to perfect as possible.

Thank you very much!

Guys, thanks a lot for the work put in this game. It's one of my all time favourites!

I'm not sure if it would be too difficult, but I just wish the menus were accessible through the joystick. I play on a couch gaming setup, and having to get up in order to use the mouse on settings an whatnot are kind of annoying. haha

Thanks again!
