While even WinXP and 4Gb RAM is enough to play T:ToN, most of idiotic tiny shmups or quasi-retro-indie-platformers coming nowadays to GOG require Win7 at least, along with tremendous gigabytes of memory and expensive videocard...

What's wrong with this world?

I'd be happy to pre-order the game if there was a way to upgrade between the various editions...
looks interesting, will follow development, this could either be really good or a hot mess

I'm hoping that inXile doesn't follow Paradox's lead in this regard
Well, pre-ordering is still an idea straight from Satan's anus, but at least in this case you get a pretty good game and not an exclusive silly hat and a color swapped armor or some shit.

Still, my interest in Torment is pretty much nonexistant, and seeing the price it might actually explore negative space.
Looks interesting but way too expensive for me, have to wait for a 75% discount if the game is any good.
they cut the italian localization that was a promise during the kickstarter, and they said it only 1 month before release with a private email (and only after a week with a kickstarter official update).
I was interested before that fact, but now I will just use my money on Pillars of Eternity 2, at least I know (from PoE 1 kickstarter) that they don't cut important things like localizations, and they don't make promise if they cannot make something (also there is a streatch goal for the italian localization and I'm sure they will reach it).
At the end of the day I love PoE, but I don't really know if Torment is good... they are both isometric RPGs, but I will be able to play PoE 2 in italian.
Finally Torment is also more expansive... 44€ (torment) vs 29 dollars for PoE 2

2 questions for any GOG / Inxile insiders here:

- For people who backed the game on Kickstarter (in my case, the "True Believer" tier), which version will we receive a key for on GOG?

- I assume that backing the project and asking for a GOG key will not be considered as a pre-order and grant a free copy of Lords of Xulima but it's always worth asking ;)

Anyway, I can't wait to put my fingers on the game.

No way will I purchase for $90 what GOG used to provide with their games for free. I'll wait for it to hit the Humble Monthly in a year or so, and live without the "Bonus Content." The idea of three different releases based on digital extras is overreaching.

More power to them if it turns out to be a successful model, but that's my opinion.
I'm disappointed that Kickstarter backers didn't get Lords of Xulima as an option. I wasn't too keen to get either Stasis or Underrail as a "bonus" game but would've been happy to get this title...sigh.

Some people know how to program, some don't... :-P
90€ for the Immortal Edition. How comes this?

I have a similar question but reversed assumption: Since I backed under the gog.com get the game too ides and also to suppport this game on gog I assume we DO get the lords of Xulima copy? ;)
I think I'll be waiting until Legacy or Immortal edition go on sale for the base game price. I really mostly want the soundtrack and world map. I might have been willing to pay $10 for those.

Edit: As a side note, Lords of Xulima is a nice preorder bonus, if you don't already own it. The Deluxe edition upgrade is worth the discounted $3.99; the soundtrack's quite nice and the Guide can save you a lot of headaches.
