It ain't easy being the King.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, a turn-based RPG where you try not to spill too much of your royal blood, is now available for pre-order, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 15% pre-order discount!

After an ill-fated expedition to empty the treasury, Kay and his royal siblings must reluctantly go on an adventure to restore the kingdom to its former glory. Thankfully, this means exciting turn-based fighting, weapon-crafting, plenty of kooky characters to meet or recruit, and lots of sightseeing.

The 15% discount will last until the game's expected release on May 18.

Watch the trailer.

MischiefMaker: Outside of combat, is this an FTL-like game, along the lines of Renowned Explorers?
Nope, it's not a roguelike. The game is a story-driven RPG. The exploration is free, the story is linear.

My cup of tea... Story + setting + good mechanics = Nice!
Looks like another mobile port with cartoon graphics. Definitely not my style. Come on GOG, we need some quality games, more AAA, or at least classics!

Hello! This game seems very interesting, reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics and the Disgaea franchise! Is there a new game plus feature?
I am a backer as well for this game(got the Steam version) and I remember I have asked the devs after the KS campaign finished if this game was going to be in GOG, they said they were going to check it. Glad to know the game is now here.

Also promised to buy a copy of this game here if it was available, so now I have fulfilled my promise :D.
Seems interesting, If this is not a mobile game port then I'm sold.

Nope! The game is built from the ground up for the PC. The visual design is indeed colourful however the actual gameplay mechanisms are tried and true, gamers' RPG systems :). The controls are created with the keyboard and mouse in mind. There are no microtransactions of any kind. I hope you'll give the game a chance!
I'd like to see a combat testing option so you can try out your new characters without stress... add it into the castle as a training tutorial option we can go back to with new npc as they become part of the group
Game looks interesting and fun, I'm was considering picking this up a little closer to release. but I watched the trailer and have seen some feedback and game play and it made me pre-order this title. Big task on my part but I like what I have read from the team and what they stand for along with this I really like the art style and voice actors.
