Gonna wait a bit after this game is fully released before picking it up. The devs abandoned their last game, Cosmonautica.
Game features - Singleplayer game. Really only that?, no achievements, no cloud saves? For such game I think that 2 mentioned before - must have options. Overlay - also needed option (but in way "GOG Overlay" now exist - pale resemblance to Overlay that Steam propose)!
Haha, after Cosmonautica I'm never supporting these devs. Sorry.

A pity. The present trailer really ticked my curiosity. :P
Here is their announcement regarding Cosmonautica:

At least they admitted it rather than silently going into the night like most. That said while I won't write them off completely I'm going to wait for a completed polished product before trusting them again.

Got me reminded of "Objects in Space" case, https://steamcommunity.com/app/824070/discussions/0/1631916887493466858/
Looks a bit like Little Big Workshop.

To be fair to them ... I did play that the whole way through the story, including transferring my save between my Android tablet and my PC through their cloud save facilities, and found it to be enjoyable overall.

That's not to say that other people didn't have technical issues ... but for me at least it was possible to play the whole way through.
