Blacksad: Under the Skin is now available for pre-order. Get the game before November 21st, 2pm UTC and receive a free copy of Yesterday Origins.

The 50s, New York City: Joe Dunn, owner of a boxing club, is found dead. Meanwhile, rising star Bobby Yale, due to take to the ring for the most important fight of his career, has mysteriously disappeared.

Sonia Dunn, Joe’s daughter, takes over the gym and must deal with its financial woes. She hires private detective John Blacksad to investigate Yale’s disappearance. This sinister case will take our investigator to the darkest, most dismal depths of New York.

With its anthropomorphic characters and its incredible 1950s feel, BLACKSAD: Under the Skin promises all the eerily dark adventure of a detective novel, just like the eponymous comic book series.
@Pygmalion_4678 I am not very sure but I think that the first Yesterday game was published by another company (even if it's the same developer). After a bit of googling I found that Yesterday is actually published by none other than Focus Home Interactive. You may get your wish after all the buzz Focus Home did with GOG as of late.
Love that comic! Really hope this one's good.
Glad they updated this for Win 7.
Preordered! What's more, I ordered all 5 printed Blacksad comics as well :-)
Oh, it's a cat or something. I just thought Batman went all Noir on us.
Pendulo Studios/Focus Home Interactive are the listed dev/pub for Yesterday:

Still, since Focus Home Interactive is a GOG partner, you'd think GOG could strike a deal to bring the first game here. I find the story interesting but would prefer to start with the first.

Also, for anyone on the fence about Blacksad, you probably shouldn't be swayed too much by Yesterday Origins - it's on sale for $3 during the current Steam sale, so assuming similar sales on GOG in the future, you wouldn't be saving much unless you want to play Yesterday Origins immediately.

On the other hand, if you're going to get Blacksad anyway, Yesterday Origins is a nice bonus. And it is cool that the offer stands for a week after release - enough time to read/watch some reviews and gameplay. That's pro-consumer and indicates confidence in the game.
I will buy sure Yesterday Origins here on gog because come without denuvo. I played almost all the adventure games of Pendulo. Hope they have succeed with Blacksad, looks awesome, they deserve it.

I agree.

And thanks to GOG for bringing these games to us!!!

The game is published by Rockstar Games, so certainly not soon (if ever).
Why is it 33€ on Steam and 40€ on gog?

Hi, in Spain on Steam is 39,99 € , the same price that on gog, and here they gift Yesterday Origins.

Edit: probably you saw the bundle with a 10% extra discount if you have all the other titles?

Nope, it's the regular version of the game. I'm not logged into Steam right now. :)
