Interesting to see a C1 published game for pre-order, maybe more new titles will continue to come in a timely manner (I know GOG has been working hard to make that a reality for quite some time).

Seconded! Hatred isn't exactly the greatest game (I'm not a huge fan of twin stick shooters in general), but I have to commend the devs for keeping their Desura DRM-free build up-to-date even as the site went belly up. They probably never made a single cent from the copies sold on Desura, but they still felt obligated to their customers. That's a pretty stark contrast to, say, the Postal devs, who won't even release a freakin DLC here.

I play Open Beta on Steam and both the game and soundtrack are well done. Now I'm glad I didn't pre-order it on steam. Can't wait for it to come here.

It's just too bad that it looks fake and unconvincing when animated because the weapons keep moving about inside the bodies.
