jefequeso: Well, I won't mention mine, because I've gotten enough trashing in another thread to last me for this week. I've seen threads about rejections for other games pop up as well. Can't remember the names personally, but I'm sure others will be able to name them.

Recently, of course, Hatred. But seeing as I haven't played it and probably won't, I'll leave that to others to argue over.

Faenrir: Yeaaaah...i'm not surprised Hatred got rejected lol. It's apparently pretty crappy.
You can mp me your game...always interested to discover new games^^
It doesn't look any crappier to me than some of the games GOG does have on here. Then again, titles like Blood 2 and Postal 1/2 aren't indie games, and were on here back when GOG was all about old games. So that might be why.

Faenrir: What kind of GOOD game has been rejected from gog ? Do you guys have names ?
Good games that have been rejected:
- Braid
- Thomas Was Alone

Good games that have been rejected at first (but were accepted later on):
- Tetrobot and Co.
- Blocks That Matter
- Xenonauts
- The Cat Lady
- Avernum: Escape from the Pit

Those are older games, though. And those are getting bought because of nostalgia or because people like the other games in the series. And postal² rocks haha :D

@PaterAlf: Seems like good business to reject games and have them come up with better products to get accepted, no ?
If my game got rejected here, i'd want to improve it so it's not rejected. Also, communication does count...having good screenshots and a good (or better yet, several) trailer can probably help, too. And a demo.
Thanks for the (relatively short) list, anyway ;)

GOG also gives very little feedback about why a title was rejected. You basically have to guess.

Aren't you the only one saying this, though ?

Faenrir: Aren't you the only one saying this, though?
Nope, it's straight from the developer of the game.

No it's not. You're the only one saying this... -___-

I asked the developer to submit the game to GOG and he did, but then I didn't hear back for a while. Months later, when I asked about the status of it, I got the following response:

Developer: "Gog denied rex"

Me: "Bummer. Did they give any specifics? It's worth noting that they've changed their mind about rejected indies in the past. Was it a hard no?"

Developer: "Ya, pretty hard no, said there just wasn't enough interest in it. Might try to resubmit it later this year or something, who knows. Thanks for the support though, Barry! Really appreciate it :)"

Such a shame too, because it looks awesome. Would totally buy here.

Again...no source =/
And even if that was true, who tells you it wasn't a pricing issue ? That game really looks like a 5$ game at best, imo.
Whoa, whoa, whoa . . . hold the phone :

Per the Desura site

http://www.desura.com/news/may-27th-update

Tony was released from the hospital late Sunday, and while still having to confront ongoing serious health issues, he and I are working closely to move things forward. It is making things slower than we would like, but progress is being made.
Manual developer payments are resuming, and those manual payouts will continue throughout the process of getting automation in place
There will be a new forum and news page coming as soon as possible
Desura is not going out of business, we are not in financial crisis. We are moving forward and actively working toward partnerships and opportunities for growth.

Whole lot more to the Article on the link posted - maybe I missed this in an earlier post here, but just in case.

I communicated with him via direct message on Twitter. I get the sense that even if I gave you access to my Twitter account so you could see the messages for yourself, you still wouldn't be convinced. Whatever.
