Is there any possibility to make update of several adventure games to add them polish subtitles or make other version?

I'm asking because there is polish group that makes them:
1. http://grajpopolsku.pl
2. http://scummpl.grajpopolsku.pl

List isn't long:
- The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
- Tales of Monkey Island
- Beneath a Steel Sky
- Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
- Simon the Sorceror 2
- Broken Sword 1

of course not only them (Day of the Tentacle, Star Wars ... etc. ) are in polish language on grajpopolsku.pl there are much more other games that could be translated to PL!

Can you do it?

It's usually not about availability, but about distribution rights. GOG has got contracts with publishers to be allowed to sell specific versions of a game. If that doesn't include Polish language, GOG can't offer it, even if it's available. Best thing is to post links to community made Polish translations and subtitles in the game's subforums so others can find and install them by themselves. I would't hold my breath for GOG bringing these Polish versions because of the mentioned circumstances.

I get it, your right.
But if there isn't any official translation and GOG knows that there is unofficial one and creator of it are willing to give it (it's rights) to GOG. Should not GOG ask publishers if it's OK to add translation?

In my opinion GOG should try to do that, it could be good publicity for them.

They can't if it's apart of the deal, they can't just ask they would need a whole new deal.

But if in deal was open option for "improvement" of a game, maybe it could be done?
I know that all deals are carefully created and it's almost impossible to do that, but it's my little dream of something that would encourage young people to play great old games in very low resolution.

It's more complicated than just asking, if they can't sell a version, or link to fan made translations, they would probably ALSO need the permission of the translator and thats another can of worms.

If someone made translation for fun it should not be a problem to ask them for right it could be honoring their work.

Best thing you can do is letting GOG know directly about these translations.
Contact support and tell them. Don't count on them reading it here in the forum.

OK, no more questions :P
I have a similar problem with the localization of games.
Most games do not support the Russian language.
So I keep personal localization (patches) in the cloud.
After installing versions of gog, I just add localization files and play :)
This is terribly uncomfortable, but it is The best way.
Also many games have official localization, but all the same have no translation here. For example Gothic series.

P.S It would be magnificent to make cloudy service here.
To allocate to each profile a little place for save files and patches!

For example added in "My bonus content" section an extra tab where you can upload personal files (save files or localisation patches)

Stupid idea: How about getting in contact with the creators of unofficial translations and adding them below the "My bonus content" section. Maybe as "fan made bonus content", or something like that?
