Seeing the success of Fortnite, it should give you guys an idea on making a Battle Royal game and literally copying Fortnite and putting it on GOG.com and making it DRM free so its portable.

I agree! GOG should put some battle royale games to store front, add a little variety to their catalogue.

I don't think gog, cdpr, or the forum members think that battle Royale will last. It's a fad that will eventually die down.

Cdpr it's a creative company. Creative companies don't chase fads, they create them. If they followed the fad, it would be an ugly half-attempt because their hearts weren't in it.

Mobas are dissolving, battle Royale is up right now. It's anyone's guess what the next day will be.
Absolutely, we need as little originality as possible! Jump on the bandwagon, copy whatever turd is currently popular with the great unwashed and rake in the mad dollars!
You're better off saying this to CD Projekt RED rather than GOG, and even then, they're not the kinds to chase after trends that will inevitably die sooner or later. CDPR is about making powerful games that don't rely on the success of a trend.

You have a better chance making your own open source battle royale game than begging a game company to do it.

Aren't all Battle Royal games ran on official servers only? I can't see a game like that meshing in well with the everything is DRM folk. Nor the doomsayers. At least if the comments about Gwent are of any indication on reactions.

Somehow I feel this request is entirely fictitious, something about the avatar just makes it a little obvious.

it along would fail just by not having enough players, yes gog has a decent good size player base but almost everyone plays single player. really the only multiplayer games cd has is witcher 3 card games which uses Galaxy that people hate

personally i could even see it failing even if cd made a br after fortnight because of that reason
gog and multiplayer just doesn't mix because i don't see anyone asking to play a gog version. and you can't have 40 people lan to a single computer, you could but i don't see that happening.
Oh look, the spammers get more creative. Now they hide their advertisement in their Avatar and make seemingly genuine requests. Repeatedly.

O____o

you mean like online VS card games that require the use of a client?

I kinda agree that it might be a good idea for GOG/CDPR to put some kind of "free-to-play" FPS online game, which might bring more that kind of people. Like GWENT, but something for action gamers.

However, Fortnite sucks. Yes I tried it, so I know. Team Fortress 2 is much more enjoyable. TF2 is pretty much the only reason I frequently visit Steam.

So yeah, GOG might want to come up with something like Team Cyberpunk Online. Then again, I am fine also if they don't, no biggie.
I am still amazed by how a 3rd person!!!! multiplayer shooter could become this popular. It is probably the worst combination possible.

Did you just say, CDPR creates fads? ;)

What does 3rd person view got to do with anything? There's plenty of great third person action games.

Single player 3rd person games are absolutely fine. Multiplayer ones are not. The ability to see over walls and behind corners without being seen is basically cheating/wallhack. The game is no longer about skill but who spots who first from their camping spot or who can pre-aim on your head before peeking the corner. Unless a multiplayer shooter is first person, then it is unplayable/cannot be taken seriously from a competitive point of view.
