OpenVR is as open as its libraries and many games work under SteamVR which uses its platform, a good example of one here, which after time in development has received some praise, "The Solus Project".
I typically have to go to Steam to buy VR content, not that I don't want to give either Steam nor GOG my money, I don't see why the opportunity isn't sought out.
GOG took a chance on movies, why not Virtual Reality?
