I didn't buy it the first time because of idiot reviewers on here stating that it isn't as good as the original or some cut-scene and dialogue was left out. However they fail to mention it was replace it new cut-scene and the HD graphic is a smooth transition from BG1 to BG2.

I have BG2 non enhance edition and it really is not only bad for your eyes, but it really hard to read as well. I hope GOG bring those sale back. I'm disappointed that the sale didn't last long, I was hoping they would be different from Steam.

Most likely I'll have to get it on Steam (rather buy it DRM free on here) if GOG does not bring it back.

Man, I just want to experience the glory of Bioware with HD graphics. I love DA: Origin, Kotor, Kotor 2, Jade Empire, and I want to enjoy BG2 but I have trouble reading such poor text.

If you are a hug D&D fan and desperate, the Icewind Dale 1 Enhanced IS GREAT! I have that and love it to death.

It's my impression that too many people have been repeating that without first-hand knowledge.

No, no, as I said it clearly was buggy when it was released and that has hurted the game's image, but several patches have come out since then.

I'd ask a user who has tried a recent version about it.

This is why I don't trust review. And I should just listen to my own instinct. Every game that have had bugs, I have always manage to fix on my own.

As witnessed by a couple days ago, GOG throws all the bundles on their front page towards the end of a sale. We're only half-way through so I would expect to see the old bundles again closer to the 21st. However they started rotating bundles too today, so there's a decent chance they will show up before the closing days too.

Nah. The cutscenes were removed because they did not have access to the original material and replaced with slides (crappy ones). BG modded better than enhanced
