SEGA, one of the leading interactive entertainment companies in the world, is the latest big addition to our lineup of partners offering their games in the DRM-free format. Today's announcement comes with the release of Alien: Isolation (-75%), the 2014 survival horror that follows the events of Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda, who is on a survival mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance.

You can also start preparing for more SEGA releases to come, with Two Point Hospital and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Anniversary Edition coming soon pages already live and more titles to be announced in the coming weeks.
6th June 2022: Alien: Isolation
20th July 2022: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine
20th October 2022: Two Point Hospital

Looks like there has to be (as per SEGA's instructions?) at least a month between the announced (re-)releases?
Ergo, for the last one(?), Dawn of War we could be looking at a release window starting from the 21st November at the earliest.

I don't think it's per SEGA's instructions, but because the porting takes a varying amount of time. Each of these was ported by General Arcade:
https://www.generalarcade.com/projects/
See their description for Space Marine:
"General Arcade specialists have spent approximately 1 month to complete the full Galaxy integration and perform a fine QA job. The game uses a custom proprietary engine, but our team has a lot of experience with this type of work, so we did it in the shortest possible time (one and a half month)."

Could even take longer (into the next year?) if they're looking to re-implement the much harped-on-about removed LAN multiplayer functionality.
They are really claiming that they did a good job with TPH's galaxy integration that is not optional?

"Not optional" as in how exactly?
For pointless bollocks like achievements or not starting/functioning without Galaxy running alongside it?

If it's the latter make sure to let GoG know about it and that they need to have this fixed a.s.a.p.

Competing with your friends for most diseases cured, income earned, etc. within a given time-frame. It's kind of silly really since I automatically win by default because I've been the only one playing the game. It gives me some trivial amount of credits that I can spend on unlocking in-game items. I earn way more just playing the game regularly. *shrug*

Broken ingame statistics screen that is important for managing the hospital.

The global research pane is also borked. Not sure if it does anything either even if it did. *shrug*

I see, thanks for clarifying.
Not sure, however, why such things that are traditionally handled by the game itself need to be tied to an external third party application in the first place?

Worth submitting a ticket for either way.

It's supposed to display both local and remote (friends) statistics, and they somehow messed that up. That's why I was wondering why they were bragging about their good QA process.
