Cavalary: Yeah, there was.
Yeah, somehow it flew under my radar :)... looks like some people are complaining about input issues on the original DOS version, so maybe that's why they went for the Windows one in the end, who knows.

Crosmando: Still though, as bad as GFWL was, it probably still had a better multiplayer system than old TCP/IP. Would be nice to see a DRM-free version of it.
If you think TCP/IP is old, wait till you hear it's actually IPX/SPX under the hood :P.

I hope this means Midway Arcade Treasures: Deluxe Edition is coming.
Great Warner Bros, now bring the Middle Earth Games *_*

ciemnogrodzianin: Awesome!
Is your list the US prices as usual? My price used to be the same, but clicking through the list, I'm noticing numerous price differenes now. Examples:
Submarine Titans - 0.99, is 0.81 for me
Super 3D Noah's Ark - 1.24, is 1.27 for me.
Knightshift - 1.39, is 1.42 for me.
Singularity - 7.49, is 5.10 for me
Blade of Darkness - 8.99, is 7.65 for me.
and many others.

The height of the discounts is the same %. Any idea what might be causing this? Did GOG introduce new pricing regions?

Yeah, that list is the US prices. But now for games that had EU prices that were set in EUR but close to parity before, as in not 1 USD = 1 EUR but closer to actual rate, the prices tend to be lower since GOG's last exchange rate change was when USD and EUR were almost equal.
Well... we're back to the business of nostalgia and classic Mortal Kombat games from the late 90's. As an owner of the last four titles in the franchise that have been released on GOG before this latest MK. I'll pass. It's a great title, but it's come too late and I feel like they're looking at my face with the introductory price + 20% discount. It's definitely a game I'll keep in my personal catalogue (in the future). But I would like to see more recent titles of the saga here on GOG and not have to wait 20 years to enjoy them. The message goes out to Warner.

To GOG thank you very much for the effort in bringing really great titles like this classic 2D fighting game to the platform.

WinterSnowfall: I was about to say there never was a DOS version of Trilogy, but Wikipedia seems to think otherwise. I only remember the Win95 version from back in the day, which is also what you are getting on GOG, albeit with some upgrades (ddraw to d3d9 wrapper for graphic compatibility and ipxwrapper for tcp/ip multiplayer).

Cavalary: Yeah, there was.
The pc cd-rom version for dos and windows 95 is one and the same release. I.e. they were never sold separately, just to make it clearer to read.

OPlays22: Is the DOS version included? Thanks in advance.
avatar
Prah: No, the DOS version is available separately
https://www.gog.com/game/mortal_kombat_123
No, these are separate games.

I would like to get the DOS version of the MK Trilogy, because that would work in DOSBox and also on any other platform, where DOSBox works. The best thing with the DOS version of the games is, that you could integer uspcale to any resolution, even if it is beyond 4K with sharp pixels.

This gamee (MK Trilogy) has nothing to do with that. But anyway, hope dies last.

Interesting. Still pretty wild. Some games went up very slightly ($0.03) while Singularity for example is now over 30% cheaper for me than the US price. But I always saw Singularity for $5 before when it was 75% off. So while I can now get it for much cheaper than US people, It still saw a very minor price increase for me at the same discount.

Midway games have nothing to do with Midway games? Ok.
l've been waiting for you. What took you so long?

"Please Note: Multiplayer is available via TCP/IP LAN." - and that's awesome! Forever free crossplatform and cross-store working multiplayer!

The problem with that pack is, that some games in that pack have different license holders. That's why it is not being sold anywhere in digital stores.

Yeah, however... buying games in the 90s in post-soviet era eastern Europe. Ain't nobody got distribution channels or money for that!

Forgive me, GOGers, for I have sinned in my youth, but I bought a copy now :P.

P.S.: Just to make it clearer to read: The Win95 version was preferred by digital Robin Hoods at the time.

Fantastic @ MK Trilogy now on GOG.

Now, we need MK4: Gold (aka MK: Gold on Dreamcast) to get a PC port.

Would be nice to get Complete Editions of MK5-8 here on PC too.
Hey nice, I wasn't expecting a WB game so "soon" after the 2077 stuff.

would be nice if MK(2011) showed up (assuming the only issue really is Freddy K being in it) but perhaps WB is worried it would take away from sales of MK11. (edit: then again, Mortal Kombat X is still available) also Mortal Kombat: Legacy is free on Steam, ought to appear as a free bonus here :P

I assume at this point an Area 51 2005 fps release here isn't happening, perhaps because legal reasons related to celebrity voices used.

It would be nice to see Shadow of Mordor here given how old it is and the LOTR Amazon show timing. (though I'd prefer EA's LOTR games based on the community wishlist)
