apart from your post basically plagiarized the steam page and their website, I am a long time Settlers fan and have high hopes for this. There is just too little information at this point though. I am keeping my eyes on it, and trying to curb my enthusiasm

edit - I really liked this bit from the FAQ in the website:
"Is there magic in your world?
Yes, the world of Pagonia has mysteries, mysticism, rituals, and magic. But these are extraordinary and to common for everyone."
so it is at the same time extraodinary and too common :)

Is simply quoting the promo material like the description on the official website now automatically classified as plagiarism these days?
Sincerest apologies then, I shall flog myself after getting home from work later today.

whenever and whater you copy without giving credit to the source it is from - is the definition of plagirism.

edit - and for pedantic reasons - the problem here, and why it is plagirism, is that you did NOT quote.

Looks like an interesting game. I loved the Settlers 2 remake and the Vikings expansion. Those were great fun. A little worried about no campaign here, just random maps, but perhaps it will work out.
There is no gameplay in that teaser. I don't get it, why would anyone be interested in anything but an actual game.
I look forward to seeing this on GOG in 4-15 years.

In the meantime, we can play Widelands, if you can afford the $0.00 pricetag.
Idea would have sounded interesting otherwise, but see procedural generation and no campaign, so hard pass from me.
In-Game Reveal Trailer
Basically I'm looking forward to the game (as a Settlers 1 and 2 fan), but normally I'm not a fan of magic and other unrealistic things in a Settlers game.
There will also be no story missions, which I also find very unfortunate.
Since I'm not a fan of steam, will it be released on gog at all or maybe on gamepass?
