I just checked my order history and there is a free PoE2 Soundtrack added to my account 2 days ago. I am sure that I did not add it to my cart or checked it out. And even then, it's currently not free, but at a 75% discount. No mail confirmation about it either. What gives?

No bites? Am I the only one this happened to?

No such thing in my history.

Did you make any purchases during the sale shortly before that? (Not counting redeeming front-page giveaway freebies.)

Nope, the last order from before the soundtrack appearing was 6 days ago.

Even weirder is that I already owned the Obsidian Edition of the game, so the soundtrack was already included :/

What version of Pillars of eternity 2 do you have? Could it be that the soundtrack has been added to whichever version of the game you own?

I had the Obsidian (highest) Edition already.

I tried viewing the receipt and it states the name of the discount - "Missing OST Redeem".

Maybe they added the FLAC version of the OST or something? I have no idea what it looked like before. That's the only thing I can think of.

You should probably also ask in the PoE forum. I don't own either game, but it could be that the company decided to add the soundtrack for free to the accounts of everyone who owned any edition of the game, and there has simply been no announcement about it here. (Maybe check official news channels for the dev/pub/game to see if somethng like that's been announced elsewhere.) Alternatively, it was just some weird bug...though even if that's the case, other people who own the game here might also have experienced it.

If you backed up the soundtrack of the game, you could check if new songs or new formats have been added. Perhaps if somebody has it backed, you both could compare the files.

Or perhaps it´s a gift from somebody. I don´t know how they work.

Unfortunately, I don't have the large games backed up yet so can't check myself.

But it's definitely not a gift. You have to use a gift code for that, it doesn't just suddenly appear in your account. And it would also specifically say in the order overview that it was gifted.

It seems like this is the issue that was fixed:
Is there more than one Pillars of Eternity II soundtrack or is it GOG's mistake?

The DLC Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Soundtrack was previously not marked as owned if you had Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition, even though this includes Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Explorer's Pack which in turn contains the soundtrack.

You also wouldn't be able to view the receipt. Only the buyer has access to that.

Thanks for figuring it out. I just like knowing why things are appearing in my order history by themselves :D

The soundtrack appeared to me as well, and in fact I already owned it having bought the Obsidian Edition. What I don't understand is, why did they decide to correct this error, which is part of the store's problems of not recognizing exactly the versions of games owned, and not the other millions of similar cases? For example, the Explorer's Pack and the Season Pass are also part of the Obsidian Edition but they are still not recognized by the store as "owned."
