I've impatient to try this one from the moment it was announced. I'll probably have to buy a new computer first though...
Anyway, I suspect that is indeed going to happen before the game is even released on GOG.

ShadowWulfe: I like it. Wonder why it's not here.

Harshax: Microsoft are the ones publishing it.
Then again, they published Dust: An Elysian Tale as well, and that one is on GOG, and Linux native on Humble (why isn't the Linux build on GOG yet?).

It and Mark of the Ninja have their respective developers listed as publishers though and were released here long after the Steam release.
Goodness gracious this game looks beautiful! Here's my vote for it to be on GOG! +1

True. The reason -if I recall correctly- of Microsoft being set as publisher (and their logo video on game start) for Dust was because it was first built for XBox 360 and every game on that platform that doesn't have a specific publisher (like most indies) get Microsoft. Then the video was for some reason kept through ports despite Microsoft having nothing to do with it beyond "publishing" solely on their own console. Still, having the Microsoft Studios logo flow in on a Linux-native game is ...interesting.
I would buy this game in a heartbeat if it was on GOG.com. I hate Steam.

Got a vote from me.
The devs have replied that they have no plans to bring Ori to GOG in the near future:

So much for hating Steam. :D

I wonder if GOG rejected it. :P

It shouldn't have gone to Steam period. MS should have forced it to be a timed exclusive to the Xbox and Xbox One to buy it but I guess MS was too cheap to fully open their wallet.
