man I really hope gog changes their mind on this (and hopefully in a timely manner....)

Spectre: Then maybe it's a matter of money and that they can't speak about because of NDAs which then leads to calling it a mobile game rejection to whip up some indie hipster shilling on it's behalf.
I'm starting to think was that: money. So they aren't going to talk, hoping we forget this subject but we can't... this game is too good and deserve better.

Still no answer for my email, but I suppose it may be caused also by ongoing Winter Sale.
Bump! Never forget!
Is GOG ever going to show transparency about this?

KasperHviid: I'm pretty satisfied with buying at Humblebundle instead of GoG. This means that I don't have to deal with those Galaxy infected installers but gets the game as a .zipped folder, fully portable. Sweet! It was a bit of a bother that I had to select a charity just to buy a shitty game. But then I found out that I could select Doctors Without Borders.

The games data, (images/sound/etc) is fully accessible, so it's pretty easy to mod. Of course, this means that you get a free soundtrack too.

Oh, and the game is great! :)
Also with Humble bundle You can sometimes download your game Via uTorrent

Because that is all Steam and GOG galaxy is uTorrent with a differing GUI!

They're probably immensely butthurt that the dev made a fool of them by making their staggeringly asinine "looks like a mobile game" refusal public.
low rated
Since when did GOG get infected with LIEberal LEFTIES!

***SKYRIM MEME ALERT***

GOG used to be adventurous as can be...

But then it took a leftist dagger to the throat...

Seriously uTorrent has

"BitTorrent Now" where you can even buy games DRM free

It's here https://now.bt.co/?ir=client&utm_source=client&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=clientonboarding&autoplay=true

I've said this before but GoG will never and should never become more transparent about their decisions. If they have issues, that is a discussion between them and the developers and that is private between both parties. Revealing any of that to the public is just not that professional a thing to do. With modern day Twitter lynch mobs and stories running rampant with the "facts" evolving every second, it doesn't serve either party's best interest.

That being said...
From all appearances, Opus Magnum was a solid miss by GoG. Using SteamSpy estimates of ownership and even ignoring the 28,000 Early Access owners, it has sold about 26,000 copies on Steam in just 3 weeks with only a 10% discount. If GoG gets about 10% of those sales (which is probably a low estimate for their share of sales), they've given up 2,600 copies sold.

Those numbers are very solid for an unbundled game with only a small discount.

So barring technical difficulties adapting the game to be DRM-free or adapting to Galaxy from Steam Workshop as the main reason for it's exclusion, the numbers seem more than enough to deserve a place in the catalog.

I shouldn't even have to mention the success of the other games by this developer...
Leaves me baffled as well.

Can't tell if satire or insane.

Oh. I thought I was the only one. Nobody commented so I really thought I just really didn't catch on...

Still begs the question why they would pass up on this one.

Some GOG dude probably took one look at the screenshots and "mobile game" came to mind, and didn't bother looking into it further.
been thinking of buying it for a while, but i'm an idiot so i keep avoiding it.
are there any news on then this game will be released on gog?
