Howdy folks, here's your little space-themed giveaway!
Actually it was planned to start in April on Cosmonautics Day but I, as always, didn't manage to prepare it in time. So we'll go with another significant date - and what could be better than 50th anniversary of Moon landing?

Space inspired the greatest works of science fiction, and science fiction games will be the prizes, which are:

Waking Mars, because Mars is often planned to be the next step for mankind after the Moon.
Advent Rising, where humanity finally establish contact with extraterrestrial life.
Space Wolves + Space Wolves 3, where mankind successfully made its way to the final frontier.

All are GOG versions.

Rules:
- You may enter for one game. Please state what game you want.
- You may only enter for yourself.
- Keys are for your own use only and not for trading, re-gifting etc.
- People who are known to be scammers are not allowed to enter.
- Winners will be selected by random.

Also, to participate, please post here your thoughts about the so-called 'moon conspiracy'. In your opinion, did the crew of Apollo-11 really land on the Moon and why do you think so? Long explanation isn't necessary though, just the main reason is enough.
I'm not sure if this question will turn out as Pandora's box as it often happens on controversial topics, so please be polite to others no matter how much you disagree with them. After all, goal of these giveaways is to maintain climate of friendship and unity here.

Giveaway ends on Saturday, 27 July, at 17.00 GMT. Winners will be announced a little later.
Nice nice but not in as I already have the Star Wolves.

So you also bypass the SW 2 with silence.

A small note that GMT is not offical anymore due to 'daylight saving time'. What do you mean by it? When it is 5 o'clock pm in the UK, which do have DST?
Not in as I already own the Space Wolves series.

The landing of Apollo 11? There have been actually six crewed landings on the Moon:

Apollo 11 1 July 1969
Apollo 12 19 November 1969
Apollo 14 5 February 1971
Apollo 15 30 July 1971
Apollo 16 21 April1972
Apollo 17 11 December 1972
Not in. +1
In thanks, Space Wolves.

The problem with faking the moon landing is the sheer number of people that must be in on it, and yet remain silent.

This includes:

1) Less than friendly countries with space capabilities. Radar (at the time) and obiting lunar probes would be enough to have disproven any landings by now.
2) All affiliated research institutions must have ironclad secrecy arangements.
3) Nobody notices that the affiliated research institutions have inexplicably strong secrecy arrangements in place for a well documented 50 year old event.
4) All faked research that they produce must be consistent and withstand all current (and future) scientific techniques.

If not even the NSA can avoid having its secret's leaked, why is NASA immune to hacks and Snowdens?
I'm in for Advent Rising.

Okay so regarding moon conspiracy, I remember a certain social website gave a suggestion to out crazy the crazies by claiming that do they really believe in existence of the moon? But then I found a post about how someone ACTUALLY believe that moon didn't exist. I mean kudos to humanity when we thought no one can be that crazy then there's this girl who actually believe that moon didn't exist.

Welcome to earth. We have 7 billion people right now. All of them crazy on their own term.

A wall of text for 3 games on a giveaway, plus requested paragraphs about Moon landing. Lol.
Not in. Just came to post this link.. I guess you could claim that it could've been dropped by unmanned craft, but if you're willing to admit that unmanned craft made it to the moon, then why not manned craft?
I'm in for Waking Mars, thank you for the giveaway.

Honestly I don't know what to think about that moon landing conspirancy.

The only thing I can really say is that even tho it could be real, it could also be fake. Many people think that it would be impossible to fake it, but at the same time what do we really know about our world and its history ?

I'm not saying it's the case but the idea of the first man on the moon being fake and recorded in a Studio wouldn't surprise me. But I guess like everybody I want to believe this moment was real and something incredible happened that day.

Do you really feel the need to insult someone holding a giveaway?

Trolls should stick to living under bridges, imo.

Look up Adam Ruins Everything's moon landing episode on Youtube. Basically they'd have needed access to a ton of equipment that didn't exist at the time and all sorts of other things disprove the moon landing hoax as well.

Nice contest idea.

Imo, the reasons in the Adam Ruins Everything Moon Landing episode show why I think the whole hoax thing is a bunch of nonsense.

Also I am in for Waking Mars if that's ok.

+1 for the GA, and the GA title.

I'm in for Waking Mars; a simulation of whatever's planned for mankind on Mars is the most I can hope for in my lifetime.

Regarding the moon-conspiracy, Mortius1 covered it pretty nicely.

Here's a recent History Channel article that debunks the main, persisting points of the conspiracy theory.

I did not insult anyone. I have merely stated the obvious. Since you want the trolls to "stay under bridges", (what a cheezy statement by the way) you should practice what you preach.

Now, do write down a paragraph about possible Moon landing hoax, as requested by the op. Lol.

[modded; please stick to the topic and refrain from saying inappropriate things on forums]
