Yeah, that's probably the most annoying thing of all. No way to filter out DLC and no way to see where the actual game is!

Seriously, why do stores even have to show DLC in the game list at all - I'm interested in DLC only if I own the main game! Show me on the game's page and when I look at my purchased games. Hell, give me a separate page for "DLC for the products you own" and I'd be actually inclined to use it occassionally. But don't show every single DLC object when browsing actual games to buy.

It is apparently impossible with the current level of technology to put additional content packs for a game inside the base game's page to prevent the cluttering of the store.

Maybe in 2020 shall the IT field advance enough to tackle this problem with major breakthroughs in web design and content management? Or am I being too optimistic here?

Not IT. Archaeology is called for. That technology already existed in the distant past. Even here on GOG. It is just a lost technology that GOG lost ages ago due to the great Prapocalypse.

It would help if you would at least state what exactly it is that I'm supposed to be looking for.
All I can say for now is that my search for "Trails of Cold Steel" doesn't have random other games in between. But your screenshot doesn't even show what you were looking for. If you were looking for something specific.

If it is about the DLC's showing up: Yeah that is clogging things up. My workaround for "What is basegame and what is DLC" is to look at the price and go from there. Not optimal but it works for now. Hopefully there will be a filter added.

So the same game is sold multiple times for different prices? Weirdo!

On the flip side, if I see a game with a list of DLCs like that, I'll avoid it like the plague. I'd also recommend another filter: "hide all games with DLCs", I'm not interested in buying a game one horse armour at a time.
