Could you make it a bit more explicit about the risks? Perhaps some clear examples of how the average person is threatened by this? Some historical examples would be interesting, too.

Who is your target audience? What do you assume they know already, and what do you want them to know?

Second, I'm curious how I'm supposed to take a vid seriously when the next few follow up vids on that YouTube page are from The Wiggles.

Hahah! Yeah, this is why I hate such videos. They're the visual equivalent of clickbaity "YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT THIS MOTHER SAID WHEN SHE SAW THE CAT!", except it then ends up not even saying what the mother said. Two minutes for half a sentence's worth of explanation. At least it isn't like some conspiracy videos that go on for over an hour, and the person linking it promises "No, really, just watch the video, you'll understand everything!" AND IT IS A LIE! :(

I mean, yeah, it is scary about how much data is collected per person, and what they do with it (mostly just make money off it, it seems), but this video didn't really address anything concrete.

Although it'd be interesting to ponder how much data would be needed to properly have everything on a certain person. DNA sequence, some dates, maybe even video footage of their life...likely won't fit in 700GBs..

Not to mention that in the description itself one could find a more informative and less sensationalist wikipedia link, which could very well have been posted instead of the video (if the point was really to discuss this center instead of just going "omg omg omg, omg : omg ! omg omg omg"). But heck, what matters most is the little thrill one can derive from it ("woot, we are sooo awesomely in danger, cooool"), and in that respect the video is to the point.

The later parallel with the early nüremberg laws is maybe a tad obscene, but whatever. Thrill thrill.

Good for you for pointing this out. The delivery or presentation of the message is not as important as the message itself; one that I am certainly not apathetic about.

I for one pity the poor guy who has to sift through the information gathered on me. Watching fucking paint dry is more exciting.
