I see that Ubisoft has no plans still to release Myst 3 or 4 digitally... so I went ahead and bought the physical copy of the games on Amazon like new condition. I bought the Limited edition Myst 4 game that came with Exile on DVD, and I just have to say, I never have played those two Myst games, but now that I own the physical DVDs it is nice having them.

Now I finished my series of Myst, RealMyst and Riven here on GOG, and Myst 3 and 4 on DVD :)

I also have physical copies of Amber: Journeys Beyond and Sierra's Lighthouse: The Dark being. It is a shame these older point and click titles are not digitally released, but Lighthouse and Amber probably will never be released online, and who knows about Myst 3 and 4 in the future, but now I am satisfied :)
May be ubisoft release it later.
As we got 3 classic games from them this week.
I remember Lighthouse from back in the day. That game terrified me. Considering that most of Sierra's adventure games have been released on GOG and/or Steam, what makes you think this won't be the same way?

Well, there hasn't been a single Activision release on GOG ever since October 2012. Here's hoping that the recent Ubisoft combo breaker might turn the tide.

Oh. Yeah, let's hope!
I generally don't like point n' clicks, but there were two from way back when that I did enjoy and would love to see on GOG: Shivers and Titanic: Adventure Out of Time. I don't know why, but they both sucked up an unreasonable amount of my time back in the day, but haven't been able to get either to run properly since Windows XP.
I would really like to see Myst III and IV on GOG at some point, I would buy them in a heart beat despite having physical copies around here. I remember being a fan of Myst right from the first time my father brought home a copy of the first game. I really enjoyed the feel of getting lost in the Ages.

I would also like to see Starship Titanic (a fantastic work by Douglas Adams), The Time Machine, Victor Vector and Yondo in The Cyberplasm Formula, and Radio Active (done up like a 90s game show about music trivia) make it to GOG. That being said the latter two are QT games so who knows if that could ever happen.
Oh, yes, Starship Titanic would be a classic addition to GoG. I loved the humor in that game :D

Lighthouse was a 90s game, and Sierra has not released it yet, and it is hard to run on modern OS. It quit working from Windows XP and on... but Squirt the cat, made a patch that allows two of the point and click games I mentioned (Lighthouse, and Amber) work on XP, Vista, and 7) don't know about 8 or 10.

I own both physical games, and run them on Windows 7 64 bit fine, and it brings back memories. Amber won't be released probably, because Hue Forest made 1 game, Amber, and it went out of business in the 90s, so I doubt that ever will come here, haven't heard anything from the developers (the Wimmers) and Sierra's game, MIGHT come out maybe one day, but... its 2015, still hasn't... and its another game that doesn't work on XP+ without Squirt the cat's patch made for it.... both games do run on 7 64 bit with the patch installed.... its not perfect though, there are issues with the patches, but you can complete both games .

Hopefully they will, I had to break down and purchase the physical DVDs for them... because I couldn't wait anymore, never played Exile or Revelations, until now.... and I can say I would buy digital in a heart beat, if they can get the games to run as smooth on 7 64 bit as Riven does digitally.

Exile has an issue with even with a full install still lags a bit, even on fast PCs , mine suffers from a slight slowdown lag, every time you click, audio than gets stuck on a broken record type deal for 1 second, so not ground breaking.

Another game, would be Sierra's 3D-Ultra Minigolf Deluxe game, I LOVED that's 90s game on my Windows 98 machine, it was FUN, would love to see it released.

Funny coincidence, i just finally got around to playing Titanic: Adventure out of Time just last week. Just the sort of historical mystery point and click game i like. Worked just fine with Vista.

Two other games from the same era i'd like to see are "Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster" by Interplay-which starred Tim Curry as the Doctor. The old Quick Time video gives a modern 64bit OS trouble, it would need the videos to be recoded like they did with Bad Mojo.
The other is "Noctropolis" which was Origin/EA i think. It also has inset video that uses old codecs though, which would probably cause problems with 64 bit OS.

Noctropolis was published by EA, developed by Flashpoint, apparently their only game besides a Golf game on the SEGA 32X.

Night Dive is doing something with Noctropolis, btw.
I remember Lighthouse. It seemed devilishly hard at the time (I was in elementary school), but it filled me with a genuine sense of awe while exploring most of the alien world and its technology. It also rewarded experimentation, e.g. tinkering with buttons, levers and dials, which I loved.

They've actually intended to release them for a while but the condition was they were waiting for you to buy them on disc first. Thanks for getting things in motion!

I own Noctropolis. It's...actually not very good from what I remember, but it would be nice to see it get a digital release since a lot of people are so curious about it.
What's a CD? What's this "physical copy" you speak of?

I haven't touched a CD for (and yes, it is true) LITERALLY YEARS. Not weeks. Not months. Years. Oh I have.. 80-90 sitting on my shelf staring at me, but what's the point?

Same here. Outside of the occasional gift from relatives and a few console games, it's probably been a decade since I've bought a single new game, movie or album on disk.
