Definitely want to see those here, although I'd prefer to see some at the new 3.99 price tag.

Sachys: This makes me want to dig through old gaming magazines in the attic and its friggin 4am nearly!
Well its not nearly that late here, however I don't have any old gaming magazines.

I do have a complete old boxed copy of Rise of the Dragon from Dynamix though. In there I found a Tenth anniversary catalog from Sierra. That was fun to look through. The prices in there were about the same (~50 to 60 USD)
Thanks for this! Having played some of these Apogee games on GOG I have to say they have aged very well! Apogee games were not about the graphics, but they had the tendency to get the gameplay just right. Can't wait to see the rest of this catalogue on GOG!

I played some of them but want to see them also on GOG, voted =)
Halloween Harry, Arctic Adventure, Alien Carnage, Dark Ages, Bio Menace, Kingdoms of Kroz, Monuments of Mars, Pharaoh's Tomb and Stargunner have all been released as freeware by 3D Realms. You will need to do a bit of DOSBox tweaking yourselves to get them running, but they are legally free to download.

+1 to the OP for posting that. Reminds me of the classic method of taking a screenshot - sticking a camera in front of the screen and literally taking a photo.

Nice trip down the memory lane, Firebrand! As is your avatar too. :-) I loved Gargoyle's Quest both on the Gameboy and the NES.
I'd say that Boppin' was also released as freeware or something.

cpc464: mmmm so much apogee goodness and somehow I've missed quite a few of their games.

Interesting the secret agent box art looking thing. I thought it never came in a box like that?

I'm guessing megaloman never quite made it out unfortunately.
Nope, as explained here : http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=11908

But! StarGunner was released as Freeware. Enjoy!

3D Realms forum member Litude has compiled a pretty sweet collection of Apogee games' version data, trivia, articles, catalogs, and more:

Thankyou! I never knew that, just burnt a bit of bandwidth :)
Over 2.5 megabytes of graphics for some of these games???? That's too much power!!!!! We are playing God now!
